The glory of Rome is at your fingertips in this city-building game where you must appease the gods, enact laws, and develop complex supply chains to meet the needs of your citizens.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As the once-great Roman Empire falls into decadence and decay, you lead a small band of citizens in search of new lands hoping to build Nova Roma – a bastion for all that was once good in the Empire. Starting from a humble village, you must appease the gods with grand temples, sate your citizens’ many needs, and build a society that will be the envy of the world for millennia to come.

A wise city planner knows how to harness the world around them. Erect massive dams and aqueducts to control the flow of water as you reshape the land into artificial watersheds and reservoirs, paying close attention to how your actions impact soil fertility, or how a particularly rainy season might flood your city. Seek distant resource deposits and build infrastructure to transport raw materials and processed goods across massive stretches of untamed territory. Will you strike a delicate balance between the growing urban sprawl of your city and the risks of rapid expansion? Or will your hubris risk the wrath of the gods and nature itself?

Contend with a growing list of needs and desires as more people flock to your city – from pottery and wine to bread and games, it is your responsibility to keep the people happy and safe. Watch them grow into artisans, gladiators and thespians, and guide them through life as they spend their days toiling, and their nights enjoying the fruits of their labor.

As you consider matters of taxation and technological advancement, do not forget the powers that stand above you - build grand temples to the gods, avoiding their wrath and seeking their blessings to bolster your capabilities and ensure the continued prosperity of Nova Roma.
Featuring intricate water and weather simulations and the ever-present threat of divine intervention, Nova Roma explores the cultural, and social trials of the era. Take charge of your small Roman town and grow it into a bustling metropolis that will stand the test of time!

Reviews
I like this because I like Kingdoms & Castle
Für mich als Anfänger bei Aufbauspielen, ist es ein schöner einstig mit Nova Roma.
I appreciate the developers effort, but the game is so boring. The Graphic and Archicecture are nice and pleasent. I played similar games and find none of those challanges here. This games wanted to borrow some idea from "Timberborn" for watering and dorough system which failed. War system is not fun, and I found "Diplomacy is not an option" is more challanging. I belive the orginal game "kingdoms and castles" is more challenging and fun.

This gets a lot right. Dam building is fun, gods are nicely structured, and progress carries forward from the demo (so I probably actually have 6 hours, because the demo gives you a very meaningful taste). If you like city builders, then you should absolutely try the demo.
这么说呢,上一代挺舒服的无压力水多添面面多添水的游戏突然变成了像在上班一样需要不停满足5个上司的各种要求
Extremely satisfying gameplay.
Riddled with bugs. I can't even click on buildings after troubleshooting for an hour. Not worth your time until they dedicate actual developers to make an actual game.
So far this game has been nice, the water physics are a bit odd sometimes but still work nicely. One thing i would like to see is similar content to the Kingdoms and Castles Falle difficulty and the Victory Valkyrie. Keep up the good work.
A really enjoyable experience, and the content itself is quite surprising for an Early Access game at version 0.7. It looks very promising!
Building your city is a very pleasant experience, even with godhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/2426530/Nova_Roma/#s taking turns to annoy you with jealous commentary. Overall i recommend Nova Roma as a nice game to explore.
