All these people leaving negative reviews just because of the lead dev's past? That's crazy in my eyes, I absolutely love this game and will keep playing it even with the recent news. Ownership has already been transferred over to someone else who will do great things. I just can't stand people leaving bad reviews on THE GAME just because of its maker.

After playing this game FOR 3 YEARS (Just switched over from meta to PCVR.). I wouldn't buy this. TLDR: -No updates -Kids are ruining it -Cash Grab game. -Way to hyped updates Its devs are incredibly rude to players. Most of the staff team has left due to Jarvis being a cuck loser to. The game is littered with little kids. Every lobby has a little kid who doesn't know what he's doing at all. And the milsimers who just can't have a break criticizing your avatar and rifle are still present. They say that they "fixed" the problem with little kids. But here I am. 5 star reputation still getting little kids who team kill and don't know what they're doing. I only get one good lobby a day and it only lasts 30 mins. And we all know the reason why they don't actually do anything about the kids is because they're the ones buying every DLC. I would look at other games due to this game's state. Updates got delayed MASSIVLEY due to Jarvis the cuck. Little kids are ruining it. And every DLC is a cash grab. Though, 2080 did make them do DLC's for a cash grab. Not necessarily the devs. Its also kind of funny how modders make this game better through mods. And the devs say its against the TOS because they can't accept the fact that someone has been adding things in they can't do. Updates are also way to hyped up. Deadshot was a huge blow. Hyped to oblivion. And we get a mediocre ass update and 25% of what they actually leaked. 16 plate carriers and we get only 1? Come on. And they still have yet to fix the "game breaking bug" with the carriers.

To the TAVR dev team, ♥♥♥♥ you, and ♥♥♥♥ the scheme of a game you created. I can't believe I gave you MY money for you to turn out to be kiddie lovers. Lust is a ♥♥♥♥♥, but there is zero excuse to prey on kiddos in any circumstance. I will forever regret any amount of time I played on this game, and regret every penny spend on it along with DLC. ♥♥♥♥ you, ♥♥♥♥ you, ♥♥♥♥ you. It was fun, until it wasn't, -Soap

all the people leaving bad reviews are literal chuds. i agree that the lead dev is a vile person, but the game is being handed off to other devs who (hopefully) are not pedos. you don't need to review bomb a game because of a dev who has by now stepped down. other than that, the gunplay is great and so are the missions

The unacceptable actions of the lead dev have deterred many; however, I see this current situation as a new era for the game, as two people with a clean slate now have control over essentially everything. Actual Gameplay Mechanics: Fantastic concept. Fantastic realism‑to‑fun ratio. Acceptable graphics. Infinite fun. To note, I am absolutely not defending Jarvis; I simply view the situation from a different perspective.

It's fairly good. I've been playing on standalone since 2023, and I've seen it grow into what it is today. While it has high highs, it also has low lows. Pub lobbies are a mess, full of kids and cornball racists who still think saying the n-word with no context is funny, so your best bet is playing with a group of friends or joining a community that wants to play the game properly (with real tactics). Aside from that, good variety of guns, decent character customization, but the recent Deadshot update definitely did not justify the price raise.
