Emergency Call 112 – The Fire Fighting Simulation is an exciting, fully detailed simulation of the eventful life of a big city fire department. It was developed in cooperation with and modelled on the fire brigade of Mülheim, Germany. Mülheim has one of the largest and most modern fire stations in Europe.

I've been playing Notruf 112 for quite a while, and I still enjoy it. I know that Notruf 112: Die Feuerwehr Simulation 2 is the newer and better game, but I can't afford it at the moment. That's why I'd love to see a few fixes and improvements for the original game, as I'm sure many other players still enjoy playing it as well. First, there seems to be a major problem with the save/load system. The Save button appears to work, but when I load my save, the game loads into the optional training scenario instead of restoring my previous progress. It also doesn't resume the emergency call I was handling, and sometimes a call that I had already canceled appears again. It seems like the save file isn't restoring the game state correctly. I also noticed that performance can drop significantly during larger incidents. The FPS sometimes becomes very low, even on systems that can normally run the game without major issues. Another issue is with the firefighters' AI. Sometimes firefighters get stuck next to the fire engine, especially if the vehicle is moved slightly forward after arriving at the scene. They stop responding correctly until they are repositioned. Traffic cones can also be frustrating to use. In some situations they're extremely difficult to pick up, especially when playing in first-person view. Some interaction points on the fire engines are also misaligned. In first-person view, certain interaction options don't line up correctly with the equipment or compartments, making them awkward to use. One thing I'd really like to see improved is the emergency call system. After playing for a while, the same incidents repeat over and over again. It would make the game much more enjoyable if calls were generated with more random events and variations instead of repeating the exact same scenarios dozens of times. Another small issue is that after a fire appears to be extinguished, white smoke can remain. This smoke sometimes hides a very small fire that is difficult to see at first glance, meaning the player has to keep spraying the smoke until the invisible flames are finally extinguished. Another feature I'd really like to see is the ability to choose which emergency call I want to respond to instead of always receiving a random one. This would add more variety and let players focus on the types of incidents they enjoy the most. I also think the game could benefit from better optimization. Many people still play the original because they either can't run the newer game or can't afford it yet. Better performance would help keep the original game enjoyable for a wider range of players. Overall, I still think Notruf 112 is a great game, and I hope it can receive bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements in the future. Thank you for creating such an enjoyable firefighting simulator!
