Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Gameplay Mechanics: 6/10 Narrative: 5/10 Graphics: 7/10 Sound and Music: 7/10 Replayability: 6/10 Innovation: 6/10 Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi brings another strategic pass at the Sengoku period, but it feels like a step back in terms of depth and engagement compared to earlier entries like Sphere of Influence. While it still has the bones of a solid grand strategy game, much of the gameplay feels too hands-off and overly simplified. Gameplay mechanics are serviceable, but ultimately a bit underwhelming. The “Resolve” system tries to add more personality by giving leaders unique policy trees, but in practice, it doesn’t significantly affect your strategy. Castle development and military actions are too reliant on automation and feel shallow after a while. If you're used to more control or depth from past titles, this one might feel like it's holding back. Score: 6/10. Narrative is minimal. You’ll see familiar clans and historical figures, but the storytelling is dry and lacks the dynamic flavor of rivalries or evolving events. It’s all systems, very little soul. Score: 5/10. Graphics are a highlight. The map is detailed and pleasant to look at, and the interface is more polished than earlier games in the series. It's not groundbreaking, but it has a clean look. Score: 7/10. Sound and music do their job well. The soundtrack is atmospheric with traditional Japanese tones, and sound effects in battle are satisfying enough. Score: 7/10. Replayability is middling. There are plenty of clans and scenarios to choose from, but once you’ve played through a few campaigns, the sameness of the mechanics starts to show. Score: 6/10. Innovation is modest. The Resolve system is a nice idea, but it doesn't go far enough to really shake up the formula. Most of the game feels like a safe, slightly streamlined version of what came before. Score: 6/10. In short, Taishi is fine for newcomers or series loyalists who want a polished but lighter Sengoku strategy experience. For veterans looking for something meatier or more dynamic, it might come off as a bit too tame.
