Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Survival game of gathering and building up your 'home'. I enjoyed the creative side. The umbrella aspect felt fun.
Started three characters over two years in this game, the most recent one in february. While there is still a lot that can be improved, the game has come a long way since I played for the first time. I can't talk about the coop aspect, but it is a solid solo experience. The combat is a big plus. The enemy types are very well designed and varied, especially among the Bound, and you have just as varied an arsenal to take them on. The four difficulties also work nicely. The easiest difficulty is well suited for people who are more interested in exploring than combat, but doesn't trivialise fights completely and you still need to pay at least a bit of attention to the enemies (especially in the Sites of power). The next difficulties go from having to pay active attention to having to make sure that you are well prepared up to thinking twice about triggering an encounter. Crafting is very interesting, and has multiple layers. Higher tier materials give better gear, but you can additionally alter the stats of an item with the specific type of material used. Using different ores for example gives different stat bonuses to attack, crit chance etc for weapons, which lets you fine tune a lot of stuff. This is additionally enhanced by the ability to build augment stations, which give certain types of items crafted in their vicinity even more stat bonuses. Paired with the large amount of charms and enchantments, this gives you a lot of room to develop individual builds. One thing that needs some more looking at is, in my opinion, the magic system. Spells are currently bound to a melee weapon, so to use a spell you need to equip a melee weapon that has this spell on it. Since you can only bind one spell to a weapon at a time, this makes magic very cumbersome to use in combat, as switching weapons leaves you open for attacks. You are also slowed while casting, and many spells need to be fully charged before they become viable to use. This is especially dissapointing as there are some spells that are very fun/interesting in theory (you can throw fish at your enemies). If they instead changed it so that you can "ready" a certain number of spells, so that you can cast them at all times via a quick-use wheel or something, it may become more viable. Lastly, the realms are very beautifully designed, and exploring them is fun. As the non-story realms are procedurally generated, they become a bit repetitive after a while, but that is in the nature of procgen. All in all this game is definetly worth buying when on sale, and has the potential to become something very interesting once finished.

I purchased the game about 3 days ago. This is my first PC and I've seen a ton of gameplay footage for this game. First off, The controls are a little awkward, but that might be all PC games. For my first PC game ever, I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. So far I've been playing solo. I'm a little intimidated to go online and play with others. Either way, the game is pretty and has a ton of customization and skills to learn. Definitely will continue to learn and explore. I'll come back in a month with an update
Today, 18/03/206, I'm sharing my initial impressions of Nightingale. Later, I'll provide a longer, more thorough review, but here are my current thoughts that highlight what makes the game stand out: First impressions: the game is a gem, a wonder, and a very delightful experience. Notably, after previously refunding it due to poor optimization (which is now resolved on the same PC), I can appreciate it even more. Thank you, devs! I loved the premise from the start, and I´m really happy that I tried it again. Nightingale is quite unique. On one hand, it ignores some trappings of the survival genre of games, which I´m quite familiar with, and on the other hand, it builds gear improvement and, more than anything, a sense of wonder and exploration, rarely seen before. It has a few problems, IMHO: the combat is a bit lackluster, but I have to say, since my PC is really on the lower end, it plays a part on the jankyness of it. It is not CP2077 combat on FP, and it is not Soul Mask in third person. It does not matter that much, because, to sum up, it works. I also wish the game had deeper automation aspect, and again, Soul Mask is a good example of how it can be done in a survival game, and despite being very different games, the way the base functions on it, if the devs could check out and bring from Soul Mask some of the ideas to Nightingale, it would make the base “social” and “roleplaying” aspect much more lively and let the player even more free to explore. And explorations are really, really cool in this game. It's still in early access, and I hope they eventually have time and resources to put even more creatures and enemies in the game (more is better in many cases), but the way it works now is very satisfying. It has some calm aspect to it, and then things go to hell! It is very Kenshi in this way, which exploration brings a sense of wonder for the things you see and the slight weirdness of it all, but with dangers that lurk just below the surface. The game is really beautiful, and that is saying something when you play it from a potato. Colors, flora, fauna, all bring this sense of weird, of derranged fantasy that had gone too far to the horror and madness side. I will keep exploring. Later, I came for a review that breaks down several aspects of the game. But for the moment, I certainly recommend it for people who are looking for something that is not much of the same and a survival game that is not harsh on survival, or that relies too much on combat.
network problem joining with friends
It get's kind of boring after 20 hours. And the quests are a bit messy. Tried to help my friend get to the end to have all the building options, because she likes to build. It did not work because of a quest desync near the end of the main quest. She (host) is not able to progress the quest and I am not able to progress the quest. She is not able to finish it alone after resetting the realm. ...all because at one point I started a quest instead of her. --> Edit 1 day later <-- She tried again in a Solo game, got the quest to progress, invited me, and we both were able to continue. Not fun, but also not gamebreaking. Nice buy during a sale, don't expect to much. 20 hrs - 50 hrs gametime for 5€ is not bad. --> Edit 2 days later <-- Turns out the final crafting options were locked behind some other thing then the main quest. Something that seemed "Optional". Also: Clunky controller gameplay, luckily there is an easy mode :D
Game REALLY sucks. So many horrible fetch quests. Bought the game for like 7 bucks. Still not really worth it fun wise.
One of the most unique, interesting games I've played in a very long time. The visuals are brilliant enough, but the gathering gameplay loop is satisfying and the second I worked out I could make my 1st sword shoot fireballs i fell in love with the game. I will be playing a lot more, and encourage others to buy the game & support the devs.
Just a few minutes playing I just got bored quickly. It's not for me maybe for others.
we purchased this on sale after looking at it in the past years. I must say my wife and I play together using the dedicated server hosted and played on my pc (5800x3d,32GB,6950x) and have minimal wait times, virtually no lag. We both love it! great game, very complex throughout including the realms, crafting, cooking, etc. they all can use basic up thru a variety of rare items(on tier system 1-5) from the ground up. Say a piece of clothing can take 3 components, ea. comp might take 2-3 sub's to make and ea. has that aforementioned tier system for complexity. amazing game and having started just now early 2026 we are sad to hear of it's rocky start. However, if you've played previously and left due to inadequacies or are looking for your next survival based game, we fully recommend this!
