Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the worst survival games I have ever played

This was one of mine and my fiance's most anticipated games and we followed it for a long time, from the original Game Awards reveal in 2021 to its release date, only to be disappointed that it just kind of sucks. Returning to it two years later and it's unfortunate to see that not much has changed to the core of the game to make it worthwhile playing. Other than the world setting and realm system, which are both cool, it does absolutely nothing unique to standout from other titles. Combat is uninspired, gathering is tedious, companions are totally boring and the performance/stuttering issues are incredibly annoying. It's such a shame as we had high hopes for this and was willing to let it simmer for a bit before returning. It feels as if the developers knew that the style/setting would sell it to enough people so they didn't need to bother creating a standout game. This would have worked entirely better as a solo, story based title.
An absolute disappointment. A few years back I saw the trailer for Nightingale and it looked pretty awesome; Victorians vs. the fey, magic and early-modern firearms! Meanwhile a friend kept talking about and streaming Enshrouded which looked neat, a-ok generic-ish fantasy game. I have barely 30 hours in Nightingale and almost 170 in Enshrouded. Nightingale does not hold my interest because it's not a good game, where as Enshrouded is great, and I will be replaying it once it releases as a completed game. I bought a copy of Nightingale for said friend when it was 80% off, and we barely put in another 3 hours and just entered island 2 before they lost interest. 80% for an early access game is an obvious death sentence. There are much better and older games that don't reach 80% deep sales--this game technically isn't even "out" yet! Our open world is a series of small, single-biome islands, not exactly thrilling even if there's neat architecture and visuals around. So a couple of islands of quests, survival, and then we go to an MMO hub to get daily quests to farm currency to buy recipes? Just, no thank you. I think the crafting system is neat on paper, I prefer more in-depth crafting systems than "metal + metal + stick = sword". But being ranged damage-spec doesn't seem to make that much of a difference over someone who isn't, with a lot more complexity to get there. Guess I'm not getting off the second island. I paid way too much for this game and even at $6 my friends aren't sold on farting around more. I suppose there could be a mother of a 1.0 release that really pulls this all together but I'm not counting on it.
Original idea was cool, recent changes suck
Yet another game I wish could give a number ranking to maybe a 6 out of 10. An interesting concept and I actually like the crafting being useful (I know a lot of ppl complain about it) but the building not so much yes its easy to do and yes it looks nice but the building mats make no dif to end result. Enshrouded much much better for building but also more harder to do. Downside of the crafting is that unlike most games the chests you find are almost 100% dross. I have found a few in game goals to be broken and it appears the gauntlet achievement is broken, tried the pacifist route first since i had made the items for it and nada so went back and killed all 3 and still nada.
Just started playing with my husband, so far about 3 hours in. I think I may have found a new favourite. From the very start with character creation it sets itself apart in a genre that can sometimes feel a little tired. Being able to create ancestry and play with genetics felt really special, it felt really indepth. So far the story has me very curious, I love fae realated fantasy material and the setting and story being fae related has really drawn me in. 10/10 for a game I got on sale, on par with Enshrouded.
