Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

When the heroes of Azerim mysteriously vanish, an evil force threatens to take over the lands! Baelin the fisherman NPC must rise up to defend the town of Honeywood the only way he knows how! However, something's different... Baelin's no longer an NPC but... an Adventurer! Can you handle your new found responsibility?! Battle fish with precision timing and magic spells, upgrade your abilities, defeat evil and rebuild Honeywood.
Morning! Nice day for fishing ain’t it!

Engage in fearless fishing battles to fulfil quests, increase your strength and unlock spells to use against your aquatic adversaries. Equip the right bait for your catch, and time your attacks perfectly to ensure flawless victory. Be wary of the boss fish looming in the deep, who will truly test your skills.

Explore the enchanting lands of Azerim above land and beneath the waves. Adventure through Honeywood forest to the Azerim coast where you'll encounter new quests, people to save and new fish to catch. Navigate the pull of the underwater currents to move your hook into hard to reach caves and upgrade your fishing line to delve deeper into the abyss.

Every Adventurer deserves the ultimate tools for their quest. Although Baelin may be a humble fisherman, as an Adventurer his rod is his weapon, his boat is his steed and his hat is his armour, so make sure you've equipped the right one for the job! Effortlessly dredge hidden treasures from the deep with the magnet hook, or break through cavern walls with the powerful drill to unlock new pathways. Enhance your fishing rod to increase your strength and upgrade your lines to go further into the depths to target the formidable and challenging fish that swim in the shadows.

While on your adventures, you’ll find valuable resources to dredge from shipwrecks that have succumbed to the sea, which can be used to rebuild the destroyed village. Enlist help from the Woodcutter to bring Honeywood back to its former glory. Each building upgrade unlocks more equipment and quests from the merchants.

Prove yourself worthy to the mighty fishing God by offering completed collections from each region at his statue, and receive your blessings of upgraded skills.

Reviews
This game is very tedious and there is way, way too much talking and explaining by the npc's. The premise of being an npc is hammered home over and over again in the dialogue but it's not translated into gameplay at all. It's just a regular fetch quest game with fishing as a main activity. I did not like the fishing mechanic either so I did not finish the game because I got bored out of my mind. It's extremely dude-broey humour and that just isn't for me.
Like the YouTube channel. Like the game. Simple as. Maybe we will get more games, which is good.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

That truly was a nice day for fishin'! Hu ha!
Great game if your familiar with viva la dirt leagues videos, not great if your not. Its a simple game and the references are really good. That being said if your not a long time fan i would not recommend. Otherwise great game for low price tag.
Mornin', nice day for fishin' ain't it? Hu Ha! Mornin'. Mornin'. Mornin' nice day. Nice day for fishin' ain't it? Hu Ha'! Hu / Ha! *Mornin': Hu Ha*
NICE DAY FOR FISHING, is clearing a game made specifically for Viva La Dirt League fans but man does it do really poorly as a game if you remove all the fan service. All the jokes that make about poorly designed RPGs in their videos, expect every flaw to be included. The game very quickly becomes a chore and extremely frustrating. The core of the game is a billion fetch quests, really slow fishing, and bad platforming. You do the same things OVER AND OVER, listen to the same voice clips OVER AND OVER, and fishing is painfully slow and frustrating even after you get upgrades. There is no variation, you run around in the same tiny map, and the jokes get old. Fast. All the fish are basically the same, getting to the deeper fish require a ton of time and so does reeling them in. If you're really looking for nothing serious and just mindless fishing, I am sure you can find some fun in this. PROS: - VLDL fan service - Easy to run - Simple controls CONS: - Extremely repetitive quests and tasks - Small map - Frustrating fishing - Shallow dialogue - Collection system is tedious The end game fishpedia is horrible to hunt, I finished the game at around the 8 hour mark, and the fishpedia took the remaining 12 hours. Just 12 hours of mindless fishing, no strategy, no variation.
VLDL humour obviously makes this a very amusing escapade and thank the gods for the genius of Baradun!
This was tough for me. The game was cute and the 'combat' was somewhat interesting. I really wanted to like it. But the more I played it, the more it bothered me. It really felt more like a commentary on gaming than a game. And worse, the 'commentary' is done in the most annoyingly unironic way possible. Like they want to make fun of how boring and repetitive quests are in most MMOs, so they make you do the most boring and repetitive quests possible. And the fishing game you'll do constantly just misses all the sweet spots. It's too active to be something you can mindlessly tune out to. But it's too repetitive to be something you can be engaged in. So it just feels like a chore.
