I didnt pay attention before I bought but they changed the game system so much since the 1st one that I couldnt be bothered to play this. I like turn by turn based combat and I dont like how they changed that. And since then we got Expedition 33 that showed that if you had a good game, people would play turn by turn combat.
As side quests? Nenhuma é memorável.. metade é ir atrás de alguém, pular 10 linhas de diálogo e acabou. Fim. ARTE. É bem bacana, bonito.. pra proposta do jogo.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I just finished this game, and I really enjoyed it! +The visuals are beautiful, the animations look great (I never really got over the special animation for walking down stairs... it looks so natural), and the environments are varied and have a lot of character. The visual quality is easily a 10/10; very pretty game. +Evan is a very likable protagonist, and the game and its characters have a lot of charm overall. +The kingdom building and management part was surprisingly enjoyable, coming from someone who doesn't often play management-type games. It helped that investing in that mechanic offered legitimately useful upgrades to other areas of gameplay. ~The combat was fun enough but quite easy on Normal difficulty. I died maybe twice in the entire 59 hours it took me to finish the game. I didn't mind that, but if you want even a bit of challenge, you should probably pick at least Hard mode. ~The story wasn't groundbreaking, but I enjoyed it all the same, and the ending was quite touching! Plus, my only previous exposure to Ni No Kuni being the movie,
it was satisfying to see the whole counterpart thing I had been wondering about finally have relevance-- it was a nice 'wow' moment.
Since I haven't played the first Ni No Kuni yet, I can't compare the two, but I may update this once I have. I also have yet to play the DLC for this game-- which reminds me, I got the Prince's Edition on sale for ~$11, which is actually crazy considering the quality and amount of content it contains. It seems to go on deep sales like that pretty often, and it was 1000% worth the money. I almost feel bad that I didn't spend more on it! Overall, definite recommend, especially if you catch it on sale.
'Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom' is a sprawling, vibrant epic that successfully evolves the series by blending traditional JRPG elements with addictive kingdom-building mechanics. The game’s greatest strength is its boundless sense of wonder; the world is rendered in a stunning, Ghibli-inspired aesthetic that makes every new location feel like a living animation. The transition to a fluid, real-time combat system is a significant highlight, offering fast-paced and tactical encounters that remain engaging throughout the lengthy journey. By placing the player in the role of a young king building a new nation from the ground up, the game provides a deeply satisfying sense of progression that extends far beyond the central narrative. The experience is further elevated by its sheer variety of gameplay systems, ranging from large-scale "Skirmish" battles to the intricate management of a growing kingdom. Recruiting citizens and researching upgrades creates a rewarding feedback loop that directly impacts the party's strength, making every side quest feel purposeful. The orchestral score by Joe Hisaishi provides an emotive and grand backdrop that perfectly captures the story’s themes of hope and leadership. While it moves away from the monster-taming of its predecessor, this sequel stands as a more ambitious and polished experience, offering a heartwarming and mechanically rich adventure that is essential for fans of the genre. Thanks for the gift, Eric Draven!
"I'm staying here, in this world. With you, Evan."
After 32 hours of playtime, I must say I like this game a lot. I haven't gotten far (I think) only to level 43 and chapter 7 but I myself like the story. I have 2 little "complaints" with the game but these don't even matter. It's nothing close to bugs it's just bugging me. - First, I dislike invisible walls but I can see why they did it anyway and it's not that big of a deal (I got used to it in World of Tanks). - Second, I don't like that if I try to jump on terrain I'm not supposed to my character can get stuck in the air and sometimes it's difficult to get unstuck, but this is a very small complaint since most of the time you can see where you should and shouldn't go. But enough of the "negatives" (I can't list more). Let's get to the praising part. - I like how big the world is and yet I don't feel like it is too big. This is a problem I usually have with open-world games since most studios can't make big worlds nowadays. - I also like how most of the map is one big map and there aren't many loading screens thanks to that, also when there is one, it always surprises me that it is very if not incredibly fast. The longest loading screen I had in-game is not longer than 2 seconds with only the save loading being longer than that. - I also like the aesthetic of the game, I think it looks nice and it's not too heavy on the steel it's running on. - I like that the combat is not hard but it's not like you can just delete everything with one click and the enemies can pack a punch if you're not there with your attention. - I like the party and followers function. They do actually help and aren't just there to watch you fight. - I also like the battle between armies part of the game as well. If someone asked me should they get this game I would say yes without hesitation. I could go on and on about the things I like about the game but this review is already too long as it is so I'm ending it here.
