Reviews
Sandrock is a great upgrade from Portia, with improvements all over the game in many different aspects. The main story is very solid and all of the characters have interesting side-quests that progress as you become more of a friend with them. The game still has some issues, not the least of which is just buggy characters not associated with a interactive cut-scene suddenly showing up in the scene. The devs also seemed to build in buffer times to get you the ability to go gather resources or interact with the city and its inhabitants, but at times it leads to either a 'feast or famine' scenario of things to do. Many in-game days there was nothing going on, and that juxtaposed against some days where I felt like there was too much to do. Balancing out the flow of the in-game missions really needs to be figured out. Also, while better this time around, interacting with the NPC's in Sandrock when it wasn't a quest was very boring, and got stale quick. It is just busy work. The combat is also quite bland, and that is unfortunate due to it being pretty integral to the the game. A much improved game from its predecessor, which I got bored of VERY quickly. Worth a try if this style of game calls to you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am absolutely amazed with this game! It's such an upgrade over the first game, *My Time at Portia*. I'm genuinely suprised that it hasn't garnered greater popularity. You can engage in so much. I'd characterize it as a cozy game with added benefits—farming, construction, and relationship-building—and I truly adore the storyline. The plot is deep, and the hours you'll lose in this world are truly amazing. There's sm lore, and most characters offer side stories as you make relationships with them. My only critique would be that certain characters lack as much story depth compared to others... I'd simply suggest giving it a try, youll 100% to enjoy it!
I’ve played 595 hours, and I loved every bit of it. Sandrock is cozy, charming, and endlessly fun — the kind of game you slip into and suddenly whole evenings disappear. The characters, crafting, exploring, decorating… it all stays satisfying no matter how long you play. Easily one of my favorite comfort games ever.
Amazing characters with great voice acting that you quickly grow attached to. Lots of quality of life features that make it easy to play such as all your storage connected. Story is full of wonderful surprises and plot twists. I almost never write reviews and play cozy games but I just had to make an exception for this one.
4.dlc
Yes! It's my chill place and a place where I fell I'm getting things done now that I can't do that for real. It helps.
Over 150 hours in before finally finishing this game (yes, it's a long one and worth every penny even if I paid full price), and I can honestly say, this will forever be one of my favourites and is one of the few where I'm actually sad is over. While I really enjoyed My Time at Portia, I'm absolutely floored at how much better this sequel is, even if it's not as polished (some noticeable bugs and spelling mistakes here and there). While the gameplay itself doesn't differ too much from its predecessor, the story and characters in My Time at Sandrock are amazing. Not just in that I actually felt spoiled for choice of romanceable/marriage candidates this time, but all the other characters, even the ones whom I found annoying at first, I eventually came to love and now miss as well. This is all due to the incredible voice-acting and writing - seriously the dialogue is so often hilarious and the characters are so multi-faceted and well fleshed out that I felt connected to them way more than in any other game! Without spoiling too much, the story was so unexpected and refreshing, and I love how much it tied in to the overall universe of the game and its predecessor, so much so that I eagerly anticipate the upcoming release in a way that I didn't with previous game. I'm not sure if they'll be able to top this in the next release, but if I could forget what this game was like just so I could experience playing it for the for the first time all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat!
