Look, its a good game, but if you pick a thing you want to achieve here, you have to spoil yourself the line of things you have to do to get it and you better be checking your list of quests every gameday and be really reading through them like a bored officer, because you can only fit two quests on your screen as a reminder and you are gonna miss some minor seemingly unrelated quest and its gonna softlock you from your goal and you will find out about it WEEk later, when you are starting to be frustrated why the thing you wanted cannot be done. And then you have to completely delete the game and start from scratch. Which...sorry, I dont want to do, dev. I really dont. Because I just got pissed. And I dont think I should be softlocked out of things in a really chill uncompetitive crafting game. Here, I said it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought the game on a whim (Logan), heard some good things (Logan), saw some cool fan art (Logan) and suddenly I'm 100 hours in and just finishing the main story (maybe, when does it end????!) This is one heck of a game, the story has some fabulous twists and the characters feel so full and well thought out. I haven't even really delved into the romance side of the game yet so can't comment but I'm excited so see what happens. I would however, recommend having the internet open at all times to research where to find specific item A to unlock specific item B - as I found it is often not very clear and there are sometimes time limits (again not always clear). I also have to put it out there for the girlies looking for Logan: he is END GAME, you'll have to get to the end of the story to even interact with him. Please be prepared for the long haul wait! I've played a fair few farming/romance games and this one really feels refreshing. Not sure how well it will stand up for re-playablility but there are reasons to try! (Fang) I'm hyped to see what this studio brings out next, they will have my money for sure! <3
I had an amazing time with this game for like 80% of it, which is why I'm leaving a positive review, as I overall think it's a fantastic game with SO MUCH CONTENT it almost feels endless. At first, that's incredibly exciting, because you never seem to run out of side quests or new things and places to explore... but then as you get to what you may or may not think is the final act, over and over again, the story unfortunately did start to drag for me. I think this is less of an issue for players who enjoy playing farming sims forever and ever, because then you have a loooooooooong main story before you start running out of content and new NPC lines. However, as I'm more of a story game/RPG girlie, I like for my stories to have an ending and I did start to get a little frustrated towards the end as a lot of main quests really felt like they should actually have been side quests. The game is also pretty buggy at times, but nothing game-breaking or which personally ruined my experience. But if you are someone who's very easily annoyed even by smaller bugs, beware. Despite its flaws, I found that My Time at Sandrock is a super fun, easily loveable game as long as you have enough time to sink into it. I'm super excited to try My Time at Evershine in the near future! I know Sandrock apparently made a lot of improvements compared to their first game, so I hope we can see the same type of development in Evershine.
I enjoyed playing my Time at Portia so of course I had to buy My Time at Sandrock. It's good, has improvements on the first game such as can save anywhere. I didn't realise that there was a second page for researching machines. Thought I had to wait to be able to cook from a quest. As had no idea how to cook or tailor until I was in Autumn of 1st year. I love the starlight DLC outfits the dresses Mi-an and Amirah get but disappointed they are only for them and not your character. I guess that since it's an Indie game clothing is the least of their concerns if you have a limited budget. I did buy most of the DLC's as Pathea do make good games. And I want to help support them make even better games. I can't wait for the next My Time as there is nothing else with the same vibe as the My Time games. I experienced a few bugs in the game such as Logan bugged out he was just walking around near the train station spinning around in circles. And my character becoming invisible when she hops off her horse. The magic mirror is annoying, buggy and not worth hiring. It just follows me around saying the fuel in my machines are depleted even though they are all full. The game has fantastic voice acting with some actors voicing multiple characters and it's amazing how different they can make each of them sound. I liked the games story and most of the characters. They are done well. I like trying to befriend and help everyone. I named my workshop Get Fixed as I feel like Iam fixing everyone as well as the town and desert. Fang is my most favourite. So of course I make him my husband. Children are poorly done. They just look like clones of your builder and not at all like the other parent besides a slight eye colour highlight. They aren't worth having as they just mostly waste your time though it is kind of cute when your spouse interacts with them. They just wander around town by themselves and don't go to school with the other children. They are just like high maintenance pets and not an engaging family member. And other NPC's don't acknowledge them besides when they are born, they dump a pile of gifts on you. The game is like your playing field. I looked up what happens about character relationships you can date multiple as long as they don't find out and most if they do will forgive you if you gift an apology bear, but some wont forgive if caught such as Fang which is understandable after what he's been through. Though it seems like you can marry, divorce and remarry as much as you want. You just have to build up the relationship again and they have no resentment towards you even Fang. It's a bit unrealistic but I understand that they don't want to limit players. I would prefer if the game had risk and real consequence for bad behaviour such as cheating and divorce. Such as characters would react more realistically and be upset and/or angry. Though I watched on Youtube when Fang is divorced what he says is sad. But most seem to not act any different except lose relationship points. I only want to romance and marry 1 character and not likely to play more than once to romance others I like. There are missions you can only get if dating, but Iam not bothered if I miss out as I already have so much to do. It would be nice if I could play matchmaker and match the rest of the bachelors and bachelorettes together to make more families. I thought some of them would be so perfect together, it's a shame they all stay single. I don't like the house building in the game. Stairs take up so much room and it looks much smaller inside than the outside. It's not intuitive and I struggle with it. It's so frustrating so I just use one of the premade houses. I preferred what they had in Portia. You can annoyingly miss out on things as I didn't go visit Nia at the moisture farm so it locked me out of being able to buy and plant rhino horn catcus and desert roses. It is a very long game and often it has too much time in between getting the next mission. Even so I didn't want the game to ever end and I feel sad like Iam leaving all my friends behind. The game has a lot of different things to do. I never felt bored playing it. It's a really good game even with all the bugs and things I don't like there is a lot more I do like. The my time games are so unique, there is no other cozy games that are done this well with so much variety. I'd rate it 8/10 I really enjoyed playing the game.
It took me two tries to warm up to My Time at Sandrock, but I am VERY glad it finally clicked. The starting situation is similar to its predecessor, My Time at Portia: you arrive in town as a builder and can make a real difference in the development of the community and the lives of its people by gathering materials, building machines and improving infrastructure. Along the way, you get to meet a host of great NPCs, forge friendships, and even get married. There are also plenty of options for customizing your character and your workshop. On top of that, the game boasts a wonderful atmosphere, great music, and impressive voice acting. MTaS is a solid all-around package that is simply fun to play. Even after more than 90 hours, I still haven't reached the end and I’m already looking forward to the next entry in the series!
