Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
A simplistic murder mystery with some horror elements. An easy 100%. Get on sale as its a fun one & done. 7.5/10
Decent detective story. Not a perfect game, but it doesn't try to be something it is not which I respect. Easy 100%. Get it while on sale and make a weekend out of it. 7/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I like the story and puzzles, its a shame that the studio behind it was shutdown shortly after the game was released. There are a few glitches especially in the church. Overall if there is a steam sale where its under 5 dollars, which there often is with square enix publisher sales, then its a steal. 7/10
Cool concept. I like the idea and the gameplay, it's an old game worth trying.

It's a slog. So many issues:

Jank controls
Very annoying finding your way when you get lost. Walking through walls can be disorienting. A map/minimap would have helped a lot.
No way to skip individual dialogue when talking or reading minds, or in cutscenes. You can only skip the whole sequence.
Extremely tedious to search for clues. The prompts only show up when you're really close. And to help the player out, everything is dark as hell.
Connecting clues the "correct way" almost always seems baseless and incoherent.
Worst of all, the demons, with the stupid quicktime events that were clearly not meant for keyboard/mouse. Probably the main reason for the negative review. They absolutely ruin the tone of the game. I'd have given this game at least a "playable" positive review as a walking simulator, if it weren't for the demons.
The concept had a lot of potential, but it ended up playing more like a chore to go through, than a game.
Murdered Soul Suspect exists in the PS4 generation of games and that narrative difference seen with the likes of Uncharted, the Last of Us, Final Fantasy (boy band edition), Persona 5, Bloodborne, God of War, Spider Man, Monster Hunter...essentially every game you ever loved in recent memory is very much alive here. Takes 5 minutes in the opening cutscene to be like I know who this man is, I get it, good let's go. Kratos is a hairy dad, Joel is a murdering survivalist, and detective man is like your cool uncle who went to prison. I dont know why this stopped in the current generation, the instant narrative hooks, the minimal tutorials, the gamer first mindset, but UE5 PS5 era doesn't have it as cleanly.
