Reviews
Simple mechanics with a map similar to Slay the Spire. It is almost out of early access, so I hope some of the bugs will be patched out soon, but all the same, its an enjoyable purchase that I would recommend to anyone that wants a roguelite that you can pick up and put down.
Great addition to the existing Moonlighter formula. A solid sequel.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
前作をプレイしたことがあるなら買うべき
前作に比べて 罠や奈落 での被ダメがなくなった。 ゲーム中盤から割と無双できるくらいの戦闘難易度で メインコンテンツの金稼ぎがサクサクになった!
Very Cute graphics and fun gameplay. The shop is fun to run as well. I did not play the first moonlighter, but I am having a lot of fun with moonlighter 2.
Short ver.: Kind of a neutral to positive review depending on what you're looking for Long ver.: Overall rating: 7/10 (It's a fun game but not life-changing or anything. If expenses are tight maybe wait a few years(?) for a good sale lol) tl;dr : It's still a fun game even though the way the story is executed isn't the best. (This is an opinion, so you may not enjoy it the same way I did.) I kept this until I finished the main story before writing a review, since I feel like that's a fair point to review from. (alternatively, I might edit this when/if I decide to 100%) I won't talk about anything related to accessibility here since I'm generally not bothered by a lot of things. I've played the first Moonlighter and enjoyed it a lot. But I did get it free on Epic (and bought the expansion DLC later on) and don't really like buying games several times on the same platform (PC). I was one of those people who was disappointed during the initial demo release when the item prices were delegated completely to the dungeon area and the shop only had a buff 1 or buff 2 selling minigame. I skipped the early access because I'm terrible with them and because I wanted to wait until 1.0 to both get over my "nostalgia feelings" of Moonlighter 1 (to avoid over-comparing the two) and to see what changes they end up with for the "final" release version. GAMEPLAY : (8/10) The main loop is still fun. This one went for a more Roguelite experience compared to the first one's dungeon crawler format. My favourite weapon from the first game is the gauntlets, and it's the same this time as well. I've only played on normal difficulty and at my level of general skill it was pretty easy, which I'm happy about because I generally don't like playing games too difficult. I've only ever died twice early-game and used my pendant like 5 times? BUT sometime in the middle it felt like I was going nowhere because unlocking dungeons didn't really feel like progress to me and since all of them had kind of the same profit margin. Your profits are essentially based on your higher tier artifact selections and skill to get through the dungeon. With the buffs being in-dungeon and the weapon upgrades not being necessary (they don't boost base attack damage) your main way of earning money is kind of just getting good. Edit: After thinking about it this isn't exactly a negative since it gives incentive to not drop the previous dungeons once you unlock the next one. STORY : (5/10) This one is... yeah. The dungeons aren't tied to the main plot this time, but instead the side missions related to NPCs around Tresna. The main story is instead tied to the Endless Vault (cue title). This also means you could probably just run the first dungeon for the entire main game, but why would you? It felt like things just happen. Though reading the descriptions on the Quests is nice since they're written in Will's PoV :) I want to talk about the ending but that's spoilers so I just wanted to say it feels a bit lacking. I saw a different review talk about this and I kinda have to agree here. The BBEG doesn't have an actual fight but is instead a QTE which didn't feel all that impactful. GRAPHICS : (7/10) I am not going to lie, I was initially put off by the fact they made it 3D isometric view. (I can't recall the exact term for the format right now) But by the time 1.0 rolled around as mentioned above I got over it. While I do enjoy 2D art styles more, it doesn't significantly impact the experience for me as long as the game is fun. The old PC I used when I played the first game probably wouldn't have been able to run this one though, lol. (I know I said I wouldn't talk about accessibility but I do think adding a toggle/slider for bloom would be a good idea. I know a lot of people prefer it off even though I'm personally not bothered by it.) Finally: I know many people who have enjoyed Moonlighter 1 disliked this game for one reason or another. This game however is not Moonlighter 1 so I wanted to get into it with an open mind. I have also never played Hades which I've seen people compare the rogue-lite gameplay to so I can't comment on that either. But I still think this game is fun. In the end as a player that's what I need a game to be.
