Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i love card games. I love them to death. This is THE best card game, period. If you are worried about not having played MT1, don't worry this game has everything and more from MT1, it is a complete and better replacement.

It's literally just more monster train. Could've been DLC. The game really more or less the exact same in every aspect. Which is both good and bad. The good - it's more monster train. The bad - they didn't even address the issues the first one had: * The meta is still 'get 1 big chunky minion with lots of damage'. There's still not much use for disposable fodder or 'zoo' strategies. * Your random 3 cards + first minion choice dictates if you loose the run immediatelly or win. Please, at least let us draft the starter 3 cards... * First floor is still more or less the only one that matters. You put everything you can in there, or you lose. Some clans seem to have more floor cycling, but it doesn't seem too much of a focus. I mean I'm still going to play it, but this is the most phoned in sequel to a game ever.
I played the first one on my pc, the new one being available on mac also has made this much more available for me to play more often. I love that they basically include the first game in this game its better in everyway.
It's a decent deckbuilder but not particularly interesting. Forces you into choosing two factions at the start of a run. The issue is that the factions available to you (the first 5 i unlocked anyways) have kinda uninteresting synergy with each other. I found myself wishing i didn't have to pick a second class because it just forces you to have some crappy second strategy in your deck. It's like in MTG if you're playing a burn deck you really don't want to have any other cards that aren't burn related in some way. Imagine you play Golgari burn and your deck has like 12 giant growths (+4/+4) for some reason. You have this class with spells that synergize with the moon phase, okay cool. It's similar to that Innistrad mechanic from MTG. What second class would you pick? Burn? Creature buffing? The class that buffs equipments? The class that buffs rooms? It's all anti-synergy. Lastly, classes are just flat out not as interesting as they were in Monster Train 1. I really enjoyed the class that just straight gave you strong creatures. Think green stompy from MTG. That's gone. Instead you have a class that's very similar to mono-white +1/+1 counters. It's meh.
