In a city where information is heavily monitored, couriers called Runners transport sensitive data. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed, & you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

ОXУEHHAЯ ИГРА! 10\10!
Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Mirror's Edge, and apparently somebody looked at the concept of running errands and thought, “You know what this needs? Parkour, authoritarian governments, guns, and one extremely athletic woman who refuses to use doors like a normal person.” Finally, innovation. You play as Faith, a runner who spends her days jumping across rooftops, sliding under pipes, climbing buildings, and generally treating gravity like a polite suggestion. And honestly? I respect it. Most people see a ten-story building and think, “That's very tall.” Faith sees it and thinks, “Excellent. Free shortcut.” The movement is fantastic when you get into the rhythm. Sprint, jump, wall-run, slide, vault, turn, leap across a massive gap, land perfectly, and keep going without ever stopping. When you pull it off, you feel like the greatest athlete alive. Then you miss one jump. SPLAT. Excellent performance, kiddo. Try again. And that's the beauty of the game. It makes movement itself feel like a weapon. You're not just going somewhere. You're escaping, chasing, improvising, and desperately trying to maintain momentum while the entire police force of the city attempts to turn you into pavement decoration. The city looks fantastic too. Everything is bright, clean, and sterile, which is apparently how dystopian governments convince everyone they're living in paradise. White buildings, blue skies, red rooftops... It's almost as beautiful as Hyperion. Almost. The story is decent, the atmosphere is great, and the idea of information being controlled by an authoritarian surveillance state is pretty interesting. Obviously, I have no experience with evil corporations controlling communications. None whatsoever. Absolutely unrelated. The combat is probably the weakest part. Faith can fight, but the game is clearly happiest when you're running rather than standing around shooting people. And honestly, why would I want to stop moving when I can jump off a building and kick a police officer in the face? That's executive decision-making. 9/10, kiddo. Stylish, fast, unique, and ridiculously satisfying once you master the movement. It's not perfect, but there's really nothing else quite like sprinting across rooftops while an entire city tries to arrest you. I'd give it a 10, but apparently the game expects me to occasionally stop and fight people. No. I have places to be. And I'm handsome.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

the aestethics of this game is something hits really deep for me personally, its like a time capsule for times when the future looked bright and lively. i absolutely love this game, its filled with so much soul and passion that the sequel could never properly replicate, and nothing similiar really ever came close.
Game good. I like the parkour. Super badass. Play this game or your stupid.
Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Very much a game from 2009 (could use a remake), some jank in controls/direction and an annoyingly low FOV, but there's also something lost today about this era of game with no nonsense or unnecessary noise, just load the game, click play, the game knows what it's trying to be. Some level designs are truly well done, others more frustrating, it can be confusing where to go when the linearity is punishing if you didn't go the optimal route they intended. It's an ambitious title for 2009 for what is ultimately an Xbox 360 game, and for the most part it's a lot of fun. When the game flows it's great, but sometimes the idea is better than the execution which can break the immersion on a first playthrough, although subsequent playthroughs would probably be more enjoyable when you're familiar with the levels and objectives with less room for error. When playing I would imagine if someone like Valve were in charge of the game's idea, because the potential is obvious while the implementation from EA doesn't always hit. The music, vibes and atmosphere are where it truly shines. It has a Matrix-esque gameplay loop set in a dystopian future which is immersive and cool running around rooftops in a city that feels alive. While the gameplay mechanics could be tighter, the movement could be more tuned, the flow could be more intuitive on a blind run, it's short and sweet with a unique premise and is a lot of fun from an era of gaming that is missed these days, where AAA developers would take risks and try to make something unique and different. Also no unnecessary third-party launchers or extra crap involved for this EA title. Thumbs up for that.
Mirror’s Edge (2008) remains for me today a deeply nostalgic experience that hits right in the chest. It hasn't aged a single day. I always come back and play from time to time without getting bored of it even I played so many hours. I feel the same for Mirror's Edge Catalyst that I own on EA App. When the ambient, ethereal soundtrack by Solar Fields kicks in against that perfect blue sky, the melancholy is instant. It remembers me of being a child trying to climb the towers and run over those buildings near my grandma's house, under the sunny blue sky in the summer school holidays when everything was so calm and peaceful... Can't wait to play this amazing masterpiece on Steam Frame VR headset!

This game actually aged like room temperature milk The sound is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so every time the game (which you will do A LOT) opens your deafened The FOV is sickening The mechanics are clunky and don't work when you do them half the time The alt tab will OBLITERATE your computer BUT and this is a giant ass of a but, if you can get it on console or enjoy the things I listed above then I highly recommend this game However, kefir is a real thing so yes you may enjoy the game just like some people like kefir but holy jesus be ready to want to chew on live electrical wires when playing this The graphics are stunning The atmosphere is stunning The story is amazing AND you get to play the INSANE (in comparison to this) sequel with full understand
One of the few good EA games. However I do think it pales in comparison to its follow up Mirrors Edge Catalyst. I would recommend Catalyst if you want something longer with more content and smoother movement. Overall it took me about 4 hours to finish it.
