Incredibly good. The best part is the exploration, and how you unblock new areas as you progress and get new items and habilities.
Outstanding!
Pretty dang fun zelda-like. Very much so wants to look like a gameboy color game, and it gets pretty close! The close-up cutscenes and character art is really good, though I wish they didn't fade away so quickly. I only really have a problem with the beginning. It's pretty frustrating losing all your bones early on. If you can find a place to grind for an hour, then it's worth doing.

Outstanding game that is fully realized with its gameplay and creativity. Mina the Hollower is a magnificent blend of Game Boy era Zelda and Soulslike mechanics. It does take some getting used to the controls but once it clicks, the game just feels so tight and good to play. Highly recommend for everyone to try it out!
Really good game, the art already had me sold but i ended up liking the world even more. The weird large sized npcs all had amazing designs that i didnt expect to be in an 8bit style game the bosses almost hit that level but a couple fell short. Music was great, the weapons and trinkets made tackling combat really fun if i struggled a little too much on a boss swapping stuff around made quick work of it, and the 100% ending oml i had a great laugh.
Really liked this one. Extremely secretful game, just packed with cool weird stuff and surprises to find, at least every other trinket I found had me going "oh man this is a game changer". Every area adds some fun new wrinkle to the gameplay, platforming and combat is fun throughout. Looks and sounds great. It's great! Ending's a real bummer though lol
Great game to scratch that old school Zelda itch. lots of weapons and abilities to choose from. difficulty modifiers let you choose how hard or easy you want the game to be. The pixel art is great and the chiptune style music is catchy. the only real caveat (in my opinion) is the story is a little too much on the nose on the plot twists, but not so much it ruins the experience. a firm 8.7/10
Pretty good experience. Funny marketing strategy by Yacht club of saying "we WILL die if you don't all buy our game" but the game is good enough to warrant an early purchase. While Zelda informs the games aesthetic, a much better way of describing the game is a top down dark souls with a focus on platforming. That platforming can be pretty interesting, and the sense of exploring the world and really understanding the movement system is enjoyable, but the combat is the letdown for me that makes this harder to recommend. The combat is kind of feels like Castlevania/the early souls games for regular levels, which is serviceble enough for the regular levels, though it gets a little tedious if you try and sequence break due to enemies having high HP. But the boss fights is where the combat really becomes annoying because the combat system isn't really fluid enough and the dodging doesn't feel natural enough to make bossfights as hard as this game gets to feel fun. The healing system is also pretty bad because it has the right idea hollow knight has with forcing you to be aggresive to charge up your healing energy, but then punishes you by basically taking all of it if you ever get hit? So people who need to heal can't and people who don't need to heal just ignore it? God help you if you don't immediately go south after the game opens up into the village to find the charm that gives you bonus healing either, I can only imagine how insanely brutal this game would be in that situation. That being said, finding charms, doing your own "sequence" breaks and exploring the world with whatever side weapons/charms you figure out how to use really is fun. You should probably play tunic first and I do think that game is better in basically every way, but this game is unique enough to warrant a play if you've already played that one.
очень классная игра, прослеживается дух лопатного рыцаря, но в другой перпективе
