While this is a technically impressive piece of software, it is unusably buggy still - two years in. Unbelievable performance unpredictability coupled with a still-unusable career mode and a world map that kind of just... disappears... make this a waste of money. Stick with 2020.

This game is garbage. I have player every Flight Sim since like 1990, this is worse than FS2 for DOS.

Already own X-Plane 12, but since MSFS 2024 is way better graphics wise I took the gamble to see if I liked this sim as well. Got MSFS 2024 and a 3rd party addon and thought everything would be good. And at first it was. The career mode started of nicely and the 3rd party addon plane (Kodiak 100) flew great. It did however go downhill from there quickly. First the career mode started me off at airports where the parking spot was surrounded by hills and objects. No way to reach the runway. Then on another flight it started me at a small airstrip with a grass runway. That "runway" was a mountain so steep you just could not takeoff from it or even taxi to the runway without tipping over. But I kept going thinking these must have been flukes and it would become better eventually. It did not get better. At all. On another flight soon after those earlier "eventful" ones ATC decided to just give me stupid instructions and they kept annoying me. Eventually this mission failed because of this stupidity and other bugs causing me to lose control of the airplane completely. You'd think we had the worst part covered with that; Career mode is clearly a broken mess. But surely the flying in a flight simulator must be good, right? Well.... If you think a plane can fly sideways (as in from left to right side) then it is all great. When this happened I had enough. Went back to my good old other sim that doesn't nearly look as good and did not look back. If you want awesome graphics and don't care about anything else than this is the sim for you. But you're probably better of "flying" in Google Streetview.
lots of bugs for how long the game has been out and is obvious they went out of their way to make a flight sim to be as woke as they could make it. if they spent that time fixing it and not jamming feminisim and BLM down our throats the game would be good. Wish i never brought it and will not be buying another one
good game for aviation enthusiasts, the cockpits are highly detailed and physics are very realistic! the game also includes tutorials to help you fly which are very useful and microsoft flight simulator also comes with many planes to use, including helicopters! however, one problem that upsets me is that, as of writing this review, there is still no proper crash physics or crash animation like the plane setting on fire or something like that. if the game included that it would definitely be more realistic! however good game, highly recommend.
