Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 19.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 20.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Metaphor: ReFantazio makes a great first impression. Its journey begins with a genuine sense of adventure, supported by a striking fantasy world and excellent character designs. Unfortunately, the further I progressed, the more superficial much of it began to feel. The political story was the biggest disappointment. The game tackles discrimination and segregation constantly, but rarely with much nuance. Its criticism is so obvious and simplified that serious social conflicts often feel reduced to childish moral lessons. There are interesting ideas and individual narrative moments, but the story is also undermined by too many plot holes. Mechanically, it feels like a more limited Persona wearing a medieval-fantasy coat. Combat can be fun, but it often becomes strangely bureaucratic, with excessive preparation interrupting its momentum. As you grow stronger, many dungeon encounters can also become practically irrelevant. The dungeons themselves are rarely memorable. The Archetype system initially makes party-building enjoyable, but its lack of restrictions eventually works against it. Because anyone can assume virtually any role, party composition loses some of its identity. Instead of making each character feel mechanically distinctive, the system can make your choices feel interchangeable. The characters are the game’s greatest weakness. Heismay and perhaps Neuras are notable exceptions, but most of the cast feels dull and one-dimensional. That makes progressing through their personal stories surprisingly tedious, which is a serious problem for a game so clearly built from Persona’s social framework. I also missed the romance and dating elements, especially when the character designs are among the game’s strongest qualities. Worst of all is the protagonist: a blank slate with almost no personality. A later revelation should make him more interesting, but instead makes his emptiness even harder to ignore. Metaphor is not without good ideas, but too often it feels like the shallow outline of a much richer game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

ダンジョンでのアクションがPS2のゲームくらいもっさりしていてストレス
The game is really good. it has some solid foundations and some really fun aspects but there are just somethings that really grinded my gears as I kept playing. There were massive difficulty spikes at times that wouldn't stump me for hours but would definitely irritate me. I don't want the game to be easy but thanks to the press turn system it became a lot more difficult to deal with some inherent issues against enemies. This game also continues to perpetuate the phys skill supremacy making magic skills near useless in comparison and having most enemies counter magic (despite magic being possibly the weakest archytpes to invest into) I wanted to enjoy this game and I really did but it just kept going on with 30 minute wars of attrition that just drained my enjoyment. if you like this game all power to ya but I don't.
我当年居然没给这游戏写评测。真的真的太垃圾了。只有前20小时有新鲜感的时候好玩。作为jrpg居然剧情拉人设也拉,画面还差,牛逼了。而且还能上年度游戏提名。jrpg是个错误
Great soundtrack, great story
After playing causally for months I have finally finished Metaphor, everything about this game has been thrilling and enticing. I love the way it handles its themes. It is a refreshing take on political activism wth an ending that reminds the viewer repeatedly that change is gradual. I played on EASY to focus on the story than the gameplay itself not to say I don't think the battle system is AMAZING. IT'S FUN AND ENRICHING! My favorite game yet that Atlus has made.
One of the best games that ATLUS has made. Many quality of life improvements when comparing to Persona 5 Royal. Intruging fantasy-style story and characters. Highly recommend if you enjoyed other Persona games.
