Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Having never previously played the original Metal Gear Solid 3, since I originally started with MGS4 on the PS3 I truly didn't expect how amazing of a game this would turn out to be. Slightly clunky controls aside, I was extremely impressed by the story, cinematics, gameplay, acting just overall everything. It honestly made me think that the games industry has lost something with it's newer releases when compared to an older title like this, even though this was a remaster. You would think that some of the more limited design, like loading screens between smallish zones or limitations from back in the day would bring you out of the experience, but it was quite the opposite. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I would recomend anyone give it a try, No need to have played any of the original prior titles (MGS1 & MGS2 - I haven't even) or any of the titles that came after either (Although those are great in their own respect too)
15/10
Even after going through the effort of implementing two of the most recommended community fixes, the game barely scratches 60 FPS on average. If they had stuck with the original FOX Engine from MGSV, the game still would have received a massive graphical upgrade compared to its original 2004 release—and it would have run so much better than this. Unless they go back, optimize the engine, and lower the hardware requirements (which I highly doubt they ever will), I cannot recommend purchasing this, even on sale—and even if you have a 40-series card.
this game is locked at 60fps in the year of our lord 2026 why? lol
Пришёл поиграть в Remake, а поиграл в игру 20 летней давности. А как она в комнатке 5 квадратиков на 5 убила мою RTX 3090, так ведь еще надо постараться...
Good lord I really don't understand the love for this game. Clunk aside - because Unreal graphics were slapped over a decrepit engine this has you move round a boxy map, with some vaguely entertaining stealth, enduring overlong cinematic cutscenes, with dialogue that has more cheese than a Tartiflette and endless references to movies. "Have you seen movie X" asks one of your three handlers before launching into a dissection of a plot when all you're looking to do is save the game. The Bond-like homage (imitation?) titles are eye-rollingly bad. It's ridiculous and your love for overblown B-movie cinematic presentation with ropey dialogue will dictate how much you appreciate this game. Personally I can't play it for more than an hour without wanting to throw the controller through the screen.
Sure, (fuc)Konami spiced up MGS3 a little bit and made shooting your gun a fairly easy task, and that's cool and all, but the problem is that while some mechanics have been modernized, there are still archaic and klunky stealth controls that were left in their original form, such as getting knocked on your butt and crouching, then standing, just to get knocked on your butt again before Snake can even get a thought in. It's a fine piece of nostalgia bait, but the taste becomes sour once you learn what it is, and it is certainly NOT a $70 game despite what the price tag says. I'd go as far to call it a scam.
