Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 55/day in the week to Aug 28 → 71.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

【STORY】
THE ILLUSION OF PEACE FALTERS
In 1964, after saving the world from all-out nuclear war, Naked Snake, a true hero, receives the name Big Boss, but he disappears shortly after the naming ceremony.
Ten years later, Big Boss is running an independent military unit in Columbia, when he is visited by two individuals from Costa Rica, a country without a military.
In a post-Cuban Missile Crisis world, and in a Central America essential to maintaining the power balance between East and West, Costa Rica has been miraculously able to maintain peace.
However, a mysterious armed group has been seen acting suspiciously throughout the region.
They request Big Boss to investigate and eliminate the armed group.
Though he hesitates to accept the request because the tape they brought contained the voice of The Boss, who was supposed to be dead.

El clásico en pc es todavía mejor, en la versión normal salió con un lag tremendo para el mouse pero lo solucionaron activando una beta provisional que lo deja perfecto. Recomendado 100%.

For the most part this game is a miserable experience mostly due to the bad controls and really ugly 2D cutscene art. Yeah, it was a PSP game and was on a budget, but that hasn't translated well onto a modern PC. For its time it might have been quite a good game especially with all the side content and managing your motherbase but as a first time player in 2026 this game has aged badly. The bosses suck as you just hit the big red fuel tanks/AI pods over and over whilst dodging homing missiles, plus your codec buddies outright give you wrong instructions during these fights, which was infuriating. The QTE cutscenes have also aged very badly and I don't see how they benefit the gameplay or narrative, paired on top of the aforementioned ugly 2D art, there's no satisfying cinematics to lean back and watch as per other MGS titles. There're other weird and nonsensical changes such as not being able to move whilst prone, the camo index feature being completely useless, mixing traditional 3D cutscenes with the 2D art whenever it wants, putting a 16 year-old in underwear for literally no reason but Kojima. Basically, there're lots of small annoyances in Peace Walker but I imagine it being a PSP game originally some of these changes couldn't be helped. Some of the things I liked are the actual story itself although it was told in a bad way. I loved the voice acting too. I won't come back to this game anytime soon, if ever, as the game is either a steamroll 80% of the time or switches up to nonsense boss fights all jammed by repetitive gameplay.
execute every konami dev who worked on this if they dont fix the mouse and keyboard issue soon
WHEN HEAVENS DIVIDE
ok what the ♥♥♥♥ is everyone complaining about? im playing this with a controller but i checked the keyboard and mouse controls out of curiosity and they work fine as for the game itself, is my least favorite MGS game and by a wide margin, i think the story is beyond stupid and the basic gameplay feels like a downgrade compared to MGS3, MGS4 and Portable Ops but is still a good game, even if MGSV later went on to improve basically every aspect of this game, you still have stuff like coop which is unique to this game, and the bosses which, while disappointing for MGS standards, they are still better than the practically nothing you get in MGSV
