Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 55/day in the week to Aug 28 → 71.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

【STORY】
THE ILLUSION OF PEACE FALTERS
In 1964, after saving the world from all-out nuclear war, Naked Snake, a true hero, receives the name Big Boss, but he disappears shortly after the naming ceremony.
Ten years later, Big Boss is running an independent military unit in Columbia, when he is visited by two individuals from Costa Rica, a country without a military.
In a post-Cuban Missile Crisis world, and in a Central America essential to maintaining the power balance between East and West, Costa Rica has been miraculously able to maintain peace.
However, a mysterious armed group has been seen acting suspiciously throughout the region.
They request Big Boss to investigate and eliminate the armed group.
Though he hesitates to accept the request because the tape they brought contained the voice of The Boss, who was supposed to be dead.

"Guys big boss isn't evil" Evil ass human trafficking warlord simulator game:
MGS Peace Walker (MC Vol. 2), 8 hours played on PS5. This is a portable game, and it shows in every single detail. The biggest mistake of Kojima's career was making this a PSP title — level design, missions, bosses, story pacing, all of it built to fit a ten-minute session on a bus, not a full-blown MGS experience. No remaster can mask that, and on top of it, this is a conversion of a conversion (PSP → PS3/X360 → current gen) — the controls are handled well today, but the game underneath still carries its original design. What keeps it afloat is the co-op. It's the only entry in the series with a genuinely well-built cooperative mode, meant to be played with someone, not solo. The problem is the entire boss balance is built around that premise. If you go solo and want to enjoy the story (Paz, Chico, Kaz, Mother Base), you're in for a rough time — fights against a single player drag on unfairly long and get repetitive. The game's biggest flaw. There's still no shortage of content, though. A hundred side ops, replaying them for top rank and trophies, leaves no room to catch your breath — there's always something to do, take down a boss here, extract something there, wipe out an entire armored unit somewhere else. Historically, it's an important entry. The soundtrack (Heavens Divide is one of the best tracks in the series) and the Mother Base/recruitment system, which MGSV would go on to fully develop years later, prove big ideas could work even on a small screen, even if the standalone experience couldn't quite pull it off. Not sure if I'll finish it. The story can be watched on YouTube, and the gameplay, which matters most to me in this series, peaks in MGSV: The Phantom Pain (or MGS4), not here. As part of MC Vol. 2, it's no miracle on its own. But if you play it from the start in co-op with a friend, live through the whole story together, and sink dozens of hours into it, then yes, it's absolutely worth it.

Facilmente o mais underrated da saga. Pule ele não! Prometo de dedinho que vale seu tempo
I've seen words like "no-frills" and "bad port" thrown around a lot here, presumably from people who for some reason thought we were getting a total remaster instead of a port of the HD collection like nearly every other game has been. Obviously it would be nice if it had lovingly hand-redrawn textures across the board, but this is a deceptively huge game being released in a three-part pack (don't trust the frauds who says "Ghost Babel doesn't count"). Bluepoint already upscaled the textures about as much as they could without them becoming an ugly blur, and I think it holds up about as well as you could expect from a PSP game, if not better. The co-op works fine, the illustrated cutscenes look better than I anticipated, the mouse controls are well-implemented and smooth (barring an early bug regarding mouse polling rates that was quickly worked on), and they even got the cqc instructor and Miller's voice actors back just to get them to say "use the mouse!", along with updated stylized cutscene button prompts. I admittedly don't know if that holds up to rebinding the keys, but the game uses like 3 buttons anyways. But what about the game? Well, as someone going in for what is probably my third or fourth playthrough: it's complicated. Peace Walker marked the beginning of the post-MGS4 era where Kojima was just making the most out of the repeated demands to make more MGS, and after seeing through 4 that he could get away with basically anything he just started making every subsequent MGS game a vehicle for whatever he was vibing with at the moment. In this case, Peace Walker is a creature collector mixed with Monster Hunter that's cleverly disguised as an MGS game, and its purpose is to test the polar opposite of MGS4, asking "what if someone made a game that was ALL gameplay?". And within that framing, it's incredibly fun; you can easily sink up to a hundred hours here, especially in co-op. It's a great game that packs a ton of content into a handheld title, and I don't think any other handheld game ever really mastered on-the-go gaming like it did. There's such a huge variety of content on the menu here that it's frankly understandable how much they had to trim the fat in other areas just to get it to fit on a PSP. The caveat is that as a result, this is not the Metal Gear most people are used to. It drops Portable Ops's more intricate attempt at bringing big screen MGS to the small screen in favor of extremely simplified mechanics, removing things like crawling and body dragging, and instead of having to position a team in strategic positions to easily sneak away with guards without the others noticing, in practice you're expected to just go around tranqing people and vacuuming them into space. Frankly a lot of this game's design is a direct consequence of people who can't read trying to play Portable Ops and wondering why they have to keep backtracking all the way back to the truck, and yes, I am still bitter. This is to say nothing of people who were somehow still mentally checked into the MGS narrative after 4, for whom the game is basically hours on end of electroshock torture as Kojima whispers "did you know that 20 years before Metal Gear 1, Big Boss actually took out a whole army of sleek AI superweapons powered by Hatsune Miku? Pretty cool, right?" into your ear while flanderizing The Boss to degrees previously thought impossible. All of this is to say that you should absolutely play Peace Walker, and even bring a friend, but like everything else that happened after MGS3, it's best to find the meaning behind the words rather than obsessing over the words themselves. But what all if this is really to say is that while Peace Walker is a better game in every other way, Portable Ops dunks it as an MGS game and as a stealth game, and none of that ♥♥♥♥ with Null and Ghost was ever as egregious as even one of Peace Walker's many retcons, and even MGS4 loved it until Ground Zeroes came around, and it's definitely mostly canon and referenced in passing within this very game, and Calling to the Night is a great song, and anyone who disagrees probably just got hard filtered because they skipped through the codecs and never used the recruitment shortcuts. I will only see peace on this earth when we get a Master Collection Volume 3 with Portable Ops/PO+ and the Acid games, even if they have to alter it to force every player to stop and look at a huge glowing UI dot above your fellow soldiers' cardboard box while it explains in an unskippable cutscene that you don't have to go to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ truck every time and that that's the whole point of the squad system, and that having to actually work a bit to cover your tracks is half the point of stealth and encourages you to be specific with targets instead of just vacuum cleaning entire maps. Thank you for your time.
This game was life-changing. Waited for it for about 6 months,it was 100% worth the wait. The lore and gameplay are genuinely insane for a PSP. Defenetly my favourite MGS game.
I was playing multiplayer and this dude was throwing so many gay insults I was lowk getting turned on
