Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 395.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

What a thrill! Definitely best MGS game from the Master Collection.
Try to explain this game to your friends without sounding insane. Metal Gear is such an amazingly written story I never had the chance to play 3 when I was younger, most of the games I only had the chance to witness others play through them and react accordingly, however I am super glad that I never played it as a kid as I probably would've hated it, my tastes in games have changed a lot over the years, the gameplay mechanics to this game absolutely kicked my ass for the first half of the game, even in the second half of the game it was rather difficult with a few of the boss fights. It runs very smoothly and fluently along with really fluid gameplay despite it being difficult and old school. The story is such a yapathon I love it, every cutscene is like 10 or more minutes and they talk nonstop either dumping lore about what’s happening or giving you an entire damned history lesson on the spot for added context, the person you talk to in order to save the game asks if you've seen old movies for random philosophy or literature lessons, it's so chock full of ideology and constantly pushing and pulling information and ideas. The characters are each so iconic and memorable too, there are so many great moments of humor baked into the story as well, in the middle of a cutscene Snake may compliment somebodies shoes or a man may recognize an undercover spy by gripping his balls and realizing he doesn’t recognize the feeling of this man’s testicles. Snake makes me laugh every time somebody talks to him he acts like it’s the first time he’s ever heard of the topic and he is so awkward, Ocelot is the ultimate aura farming loser, every time he does that damn hand gesture I wanna cheer, EVA is so full of trauma and gives an amazing emotional performance through her character, The Boss is such a well written character with such a masterful grip on ideology and loyalty, theres so much to write home about. While I recommend this movie to everyone who loves espionage and military shooters, PLEASE buy the remastered version when it's on sale so you can experience the best version of this game possible, I am however so glad I can say I finished and played the original version technically. 10/10 A True Patriot.
I get the Kojima glaze, you genuinely have to experience this for yourself to understand.
you can eat snakes, 10/10. pretty good game
