Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 395.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is second MGS I ever play, I can make sure THIS IS THE BEST MGS, everything every-story started from MGS3, Gameplay is still fun, Although it's old. Story is the best serious and still have some funny moment in Cutscene. I thing people who love video games and movies should have to play this game if you never play, Please.
Having played Metal Gear Solid (MGS), many would say that the next logical step would be to play Metal Gear Solid 2. Soy I played Metal Gear Solid 3 (MGS3). The difference between the games I have mentioned is sustantial, but they keep the core idea, expanding the tools given to the player to complete the game. And damn, how many tools are available. Sometimes I felt like I was in a sort of espionage simulator; the depth of the movement and the different mechanics available to Snake are mindblowing. Just how many options you have to achieve one thing is amazing. Of course, this has a big cost: I always felt the controls a little cumbersome. Like there was a specific sequence of inputs that you have to perform in order to do a seemingly simple thing to do like making a stealth takedown. I feel like this was also the case in MGS, but I think that in MGS3 accentuate this due to the lack of instruction during gameplay, something that the former game is quite explicit about, at the cost of immersion, I guess. Yes, there's the manual and there's the tutorials in the main menu (at least in the Steam version of the game), but, nevertheless, there's nothing like tutorials embedded in the gameplay. I liked the bosses as well. Maybe not that much in contrast with MGS's ones, but they were interesting and enjoyable. In fact, I would say that my favorite character in between these games is The Boss. What an absolut romantic character; so charming, so powerful and so well-built. Now, the two fights before The Boss were so boring that I can't believe it's the same game. A total change of pace in the story. The rest are fine, interesting and fun, in general, just like the level design, the feeling of the weapons --excluding CCQ due to the reasons I mentioned--, and, of course, Ocelot, with his cheesy, ridiculous and extremely hilarious gun fidgeting. Great character as well! One other thing I didn't enjoy at all was the partner part of the game. That was totally inconvenient, slow and it really didn't add anything to the story or the game, I would say. I think it is interesting that something like this was included, maybe as a testing ground for future games, but that doesn't make it fun. Some other thoughts: the cure and camouflage systems are nice, but the way to access them is not that appealing; the art direction is great considering the level and character design, the music, the aesthetics, and more; again, the spy paraphernalia is amazing, each item being useful for something in particular; the backpack system is a well-received one after MGSM; the fact that the third-person camera is an option is bloody great, so you can switch between these two, taking advantage of their own characteristics; the lore and story are detailed and cohesive; some anticlimatic parts are present, specially at the late part of the game; the ending was excellent; and the stamina-hunting system was... interesting. I'll say no more about this last one. I feel that MGS really went over and beyond with was expected from an action game for the time it was released. In this sense, MGS3 continues with this legacy, but I don't feel it as impactful. The better graphics and complex systems really add to the experience of tactical espionage, allowing you to explore this world with its little parts of retro sci-fi and a bit of fantasy here and there. All this being said, I think that is a deeply entertaining game, which will make you play and play just to see how Snake acts as a one-man army and confronts not only the world's biggest governments, but also his past, love and Ocelot's bonkers skills with revolvers. An iconic game that has the place it deserves. 8/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Très bon honnêtement. J'ai été grave surpris de l'évolution du gameplay de MGS2 à MGS3. Comme d'habitude, l'histoire reste le plus gros point fort du jeu
I wanna eat that snake iykwim
Herşeyin başlangıcı,The Boss,Big Boss, ve ilk Metal Gear.

What a thrill
"You're Pretty Good" Cinema. Absolute Cinema. This And MGS4 Are My Favorites In The Series (Fitting Since It's Beginning And End) As A Prequel Origin Story It's Amazing, As A Game It's Phenomenal. It's Still Got Some Jank For Sure But That Doesn't Change My Take. I Had A Blast Playing This And Finally Experiencing The Entire Mainline MGS Series And Now That I Have It Further Strengthens My Love For This Series. I Hate Giving Konami Money But Kojima Made These Games Too Good To Pass Up. "WHAT A THRILL" 10/10
I can't fly the WIG by myself.
