Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Metal Gear
Her boss'un zayıf noktası silahlarınızdan birisi.
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

METAL GEAR & METAL GEAR 2: Solid Snake aside from old school secret progression its pretty fun
It is quite hard to talk about these two games, especially after experiencing both games. I'll start from the obvious: if you weren't born during the release of these games and you are not a hardcore retro-gamer, don't be a smart-ass and use guides because you will get confused and stuck 100%. Back in the day, people paid money for guidebooks; now you can have them for free, so use them. Besides, guides still won't degrade the experience you'll get. Quick reviews: Metal Gear 1 - it is amazing how, in 1987, it was possible to fit so many features and mechanics into one game. The story is basic, but it is there, present in the game itself and not in the text guide that came with the game. Challenging but very rewarding and exciting. Although there is a lot of backtracking, yet not as much as in the second game. Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake - if you are a bit familiar with Hideo Kojima's style and approach to game design, then playing this game will immediately click with your picture of him as a creator. This is where he was born as we know him now. Complex mechanics, layered and touching story, actual cutscenes that take time. Everything that was made by Kojima afterwards was set up here. Although unlike the first game, here getting rid of alerts and sometimes the sudden appearance of soldiers in the same place where you start the screen can be very irritating. Tons of backtracking that is both great, as it pictures the whole Zanzibar Land, and irritating to the max. As of personal opinion, it is 3 or 4 times bigger than the first game and works much better in terms of modern gaming as we know it. Despite a very retro approach to game experience and many aspects, this was a thrilling journey to the past that immerses you as few games do. Would've been great to see full remakes with modern graphics and an approach to these two titles and the events in Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land.
my snake is still solid after this game

6/10 — Metal Gear: The game that started it all. The game is quite dated, but it still deserves a playthrough. Like games of its time, MG has clunky controls, unforgiving difficulty, and relies a lot—and I mean A LOT—on BACKTRACKING! The story is, for the most part, the foundation for every next iteration. What I mean by that is, it's always the same problem in every game... for now?!? But the plot twist is something worth experiencing on a first playthrough. 7.5/10 — Metal Gear 2: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger! A better version of Metal Gear with a new but similar story. The game evolves in every aspect from the original: better boss fights, more items to collect, new puzzles, and more weapons! The game still suffers from the same issues as Metal Gear (clunkiness and game saving), but I believe the clunky controls are due to a bad or poor port of the game. The story is also similar, but the game saves itself with yet another plot twist. Honestly, both are great games, and I'm really eager to continue this series. ⚆_⚆
