Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

It's the bomb. One of the great ones.
Rating: 4.5 / 5 Played the absolute hell out of the original Master of Orion on floppy disk a million years ago. Played less but still enjoyed Master of Orion 2 quite a bit. Master of Orion 3 ... happened ... and I played about 15 minutes before lamenting the death of a great franchise. So when the remake came out in 2017 or whenever, I had high hopes, but low expectations. Bought it and played it for a couple of hours, sighed, and walked away. Then I had some downtime this year (2025) due to a back injury and decided to give it another shot. And whatever they did between launch and now has made this a great entry in the MOO franchise. It's the right mix of 1 and 2, and utterly addicting. Highly recommended.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

My biggest complaint about the game is that I cannot travel from an explored system to an explored system. I have to traverse a roundabout path through out of the way systems just to get to my destination system because the game has pathways between star systems just to make the galaxy look like a spiral or cluster. You can research more advanced engines as the game goes on. But, eventually, you hit a point where it takes you 1 turn to reach the adjoining system. After that, your engine speed means absolutely nothing, because you have to travel from system to system, and can never take a direct route.
boring, also games freezes for 15+ minutes when ending round
Fun and Easy Game, always loved this from the time i was young, this version keeps it simple and adds great graphics
Still one of the best, and one I keep coming back to. I think between this and Civ VI, I get my 4x itch taken care of. I love that it also is very easy to customize the game, you can change what individual technologies do, etc. Race customization is very good. Battles are kind of what you would expect for a 4x space game, can be automated, or you can dive in and control individual ships if you'd like, which is better in the early game. Too many pros to list here, but Cons are the game can try and be a little to comical at times. Also, I wish they would come out with more content to add to this great game.
Fantastic long term replayability, very solid strategy game especially playing on extreme.
Immer wieder gut.
Waited until I had over 100 hrs. in game. Little difficult learning curve but really enjoying the differences in this game versus the previous 3. Planet management is a lot more involved and battles a lot less involved. Technology tree is a little cumbersome but doable. Overall I am really enjoying it.
