Lords Of The Fallen™ 2014

First of all, I tried really hard to like this game, as you can see from my playtime. Even started NG+. I even appreciate some parts of the game, like armor sets. They look badass. But there are far more cons than pros, so it ultimately leads to very frustrating experiences. I dislike the way Ubisoft games throw all sort of UI nonsense, treating the player like a child, and I prefer minimal guidance, but this game... To put it simply, navigation is awful. Everything looks basically the same, so you can't tell which way you came from, and backtrack. Makes you go around and around, wasting precious time and your patience. As well as things that greatly hamper player enjoyment and the overall quality of the game: - Sound of audio notes cut off randomly. - Frequent crashes to desktop. - Checkpoint system. - Some achievements are bugged on NG+ - Lousy performance even though my system is more than enough. Settings are not even maxed out... - Slow, and janky combat doesn't help either. Camera shake, the bosses, characters or the story, or the side quests that you will soon forget it even existed. There's almost nothing memorable about this game.

Personally I like this game better than the 2023 version... I bought this on PS a year or so after it came out and beat it in 1 weekend because it caught my attention so much getting all the alternate kills and armors/weapons.

Só compre em promoção, infelizmente está muito datado. Não esperem dificuldades é de longe o souls-like mais fácil que já joguei

The story and voice acting is kinda lackluster with this one, but the gameplay is decent. It was my first entry in the souls like genre, and I ended up quite liking it.

Lords of the Fallen (2014) es un soulslike que apuesta por una ambientación medieval pura, algo que lo separa del molde clásico del género. Aun así, mantiene una atmósfera densa, oscura y casi abandonada que te envuelve desde el primer pasillo. La jugabilidad es más táctica de lo habitual. Aquí el peso importa de verdad: la armadura que lleves define si avanzas con soltura o si cada paso suena a hierro arrastrándose. Los combates son exigentes al inicio por el daño que recibes, pero los jefes se vuelven manejables cuando identificas sus patrones y ritmos. La historia es breve pero clara. Visualmente sigue luciendo muy bien, con escenarios, iluminación y diseño artístico que destacan incluso hoy. En rendimiento es sólido, aunque debo decir que en mi caso llegó a crashearse alrededor de 15 veces. Fuera de ese detalle, sigue siendo una muy buena opción para quienes disfrutan de los soulslikes y buscan algo distinto dentro del género.
