Neintuitivní, neovladatelný, neoptimalizovaný. Movement zasekaný, pomalý, nesynchronní s nepřáteli. Prakticky není možné vykrýt 90% útoků ani se jim vyhnout. Nepříjemný combat pocitově a frustrující systém vylepšování. Nedivím se, že to propadlo u hráčů. Jediné zajímavé je to ''rytířské'' prostředí. Rozhodně si nepořizujte ani za 50kč, naprosto zbytečný čas, který lze investovat do lepších her.

Непогана гра, що дуже схожа на ті старі ігри, звідки Dark Souls майже повністю злизав свою концепцію. Але все ж рекомендую не грати в цю частину на нових ПК, бо вона зависає, лагає та сильно багує. Краще спробувати консольні версії, які хоч і виглядають як кошмар при температурі 39, але працюють стабільно.

Finally got around to finishing this after many years, and I fully understand all the hate this game got now. I can see the vision in there, but its buried under so many horrid choices and design features that it doesnt matter. You couldnt pay me to play this through a second time.

Lords of the Fallen (2014) I bought this at least 8 years ago and just remembered I had it a few weeks ago. I was curious why I didnt like it, so I decided to play it. After this time, I will give you my honest review. Hopefully you may give this game a chance. Story Not a terrible story, it starts off with your main character thats a criminal, but you have been brought out of prison to help humanity out and fight off the Rogar (an extra dimensional race that seems to want to conquer humanity). You have the power to defeat their champions, and thus become a champion for humanity. There are some different endings from what I understand, and the story can change depending on the choices you make. Gameplay The heart of the game feels like what many would call a slower Souls-like clone. Its true, this was one of the fist games that tried to emulate dark souls, and it does feel a bit clunkier compared to the original. Dodging is not great, but there are some attacks that honestly just cannot be dodged by bosses. I found myself just cheesing the AI by using ranged attacks(a bit of a hack but w.e). There will be enemies that are faster than you, and you just have to either keep your distance or be very good at kiting. Your characters attacks are very painfully slow, even the fastest weapons are sometimes slower than many enemy attacks...which was one of the biggest complaints that people had when this game first releasted. Though there is probably a tank build that seems very viable. There are enough weapons and gear, but you cant really upgrade or buy any more. The only upgrades you can do are runes , which can only be found in chests or from dead enemies. I found that having low luck really makes finding gear a chore, as you just have to keep killing enemies and hope for the best . I really dont like that type of game, as im past farming for gear. In terms of exploration, its decent enough to give you some freedom, but the areas to explore in the game are actually not very large, and you even go back to previously explored areas but just with some different enemy placements. Performance So I played this game on two machines. My main computer ran it no problem, but my older PC is an FX8370 with a gtx 1060 6gb, and that struggled at times. The CPU would throttle on certain areas, even though the game requirements said it would be fine, Even reducing the settings only slightly delayed the suttrering. But otherwise most modern machines will run this fine. There was an odd crash here and there during a boss fight, but that happend twice from what I remember. Graphics For an older game, it still looks beautiful in 2026. I played on both 1080P High and 1440P High . But it was not optimized on AMD hardware it seems, The landscapes look beautiful, there is weather effects , and the lighting in darker areas really gives a sense of brooding and dread. They did a great job. Enemies are varied, and range from bestial enemies, to battle-ready knights. Weapons looks very cool, and the spell effects look great. Boss fights have some cool cinematics and animations. Overall 7/10 I think I got this on sale for about $10 CAD or so, and it was definetly worth the price. If you give the game a chance, and dont expect it to play like Dark Souls, but more like an action RPG, its not terrible. Lords of the Fallen may scratch that itch, I would get it on sale though.
