Lies of P is a thrilling soulslike that takes the story of Pinocchio, turns it on its head, and sets it against the darkly elegant backdrop of the Belle Epoque era.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Amazing game! Recommended if you like Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Sekiro
I started my Soulslike journey with Elden Ring, and after completing it, I knew this was the genre for me, so I decided to explore. I expected Lies of P to have familiar gameplay, but the guard system changes things so much that I'm now afraid to start any other title, since I have gotten so used to it. I'm looking forward to more games like this, and although I thought I will never touch Sekiro, it's now very high on my list thanks to Lies of P. Linear progression was also something new to me. It's a good thing that you won't be lost for dozens of hours doing nothing, but if you get stuck, the only way to have a chance to progress is to farm Ergo or hit your head against a wall. Either you win, or you're stuck. Either way, the lore is amazing, the graphics are amazing, Lies of P is amazing. And thanks to its unique weapon system, everyone will find their playstyle.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

truly love this game. im almost done w/ the dlc(gotta get good tbh) but overall 10000%. love the twink
**6/10** The biggest issue I have with this game is the **input delay**, especially when it comes to the mechanics that are supposed to be the foundation of the combat: blocking, dodging, and perfect guarding/parrying. Far too often, I’ll input a dodge or guard and it either doesn’t register properly or registers too late. Even when you successfully block an attack, you can still take damage, which makes the defensive mechanics feel inconsistent. I do like the mechanic where you can recover some of your lost health by attacking enemies afterward. The problem is that the enemy attack strings are so long and aggressive that you often don't have enough of an opening to actually recover that health. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty, and honestly, the game isn't necessarily difficult because the enemies are highly skilled. It's difficult because the game throws a bunch of unnecessary obstacles at you. Enemies have ridiculous **auto-tracking**, to the point where they'll follow your movement even after you've dodged. This makes dodging feel almost pointless in certain situations. The perfect parry system has a similar problem. Enemies can throw out several attacks in extremely fast succession, while your character feels comparatively slow. Combine that with the stamina system, and you're often fighting the controls and mechanics more than you're fighting the actual enemy. There are times where I know exactly what I'm supposed to do, but the game doesn't give me the responsiveness necessary to do it consistently. The **camera is another major problem**. Whoever designed this camera needs to be fired. Boss arenas and certain areas are so cramped that enemies can push you against a wall, and suddenly you can barely see your own character. This happens against bosses and even regular enemies. A good combat system becomes much more frustrating when you're constantly fighting the camera just to see what's happening. And that's really my biggest criticism of the game: instead of making the combat difficult through **skill**, it often makes it difficult through artificial limitations and frustrating mechanics. Games like **Stellar Blade** and **Ninja Gaiden** are challenging because they demand good timing, positioning, reactions, and execution. This game too often feels like it's saying, *"We're going to make this harder by limiting your movement, giving enemies extreme tracking, overwhelming you with fast attacks, and putting you in bad camera angles."* Outside of the combat, though, the game is beautiful. The **visuals and aesthetics are excellent**, and I really enjoy the **story**. There is clearly a lot to appreciate here. Unfortunately, the combat is just too inconsistent for me to overlook its problems. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't call it particularly exciting or satisfying either. **Overall: 6/10.** Beautiful game, good story, but the combat needs a lot of work.
