Legend of Grimrock 2 is a dungeon crawling role playing game with a modern execution but an oldschool heart. A group of four prisoners have shipwrecked on the secluded Isle of Nex. The island is filled with ancient crumbled ruins, mysterious shrines and a vast underground network of dungeons.

Reviews
A nice successor to the first game, but I had the feeling it was slightly rushed and undercooked in some of the smaller details. For example, the game never really explains what the Rites of the Moon book does, or what bonuses you get from completing six-piece equipment sets. There are also a few awkward balance/mechanics issues. Evasion sometimes feels like it barely works at all, even at 70+, while frost damage can occasionally spike to ridiculous levels despite having all resistances at 100. That said, the riddles and secrets are where the game really shines, and they more than make up for these issues.
Every time there's some revamp/remake/spiritual-successor of some old game, it just makes me appreciate modern gaming so much. Imagine existing in a time when moving around on an invisible square grid and right clicking on items in an inventory IN REAL-TIME was actually just all you had. Yuck.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really great nostalgic old-school game with fun puzzles and just all-around an awesome experience and heart that seems to be missing from more recent games. Hard to believe such a small team put this together.
Good old classic top
A dungeon crawler to rival the old masters, and custom campaigns add potentially hundreds of hours of exploration and challenge matching or even surpassing the already-incredible standard campaign. There are no caveats, any fan of dungeon crawlers needs this game.
A genius game. The exploration is exciting. The riddles are great. Just the combat often feels a bit unfair at some points. Also toss away your pride: you will need to savescum this game or leave in frustration. Where is my part 3 of the game, devs? T_T
bello se piace il genere!
I came across this game when I searched for "Games like Might & Magic blobbers" and I am NOT disappointed one bit! I went in completely blind, and I am having a BLAST with this. I'm almost sad I didn't play Grimrock I first. Oh well - I guess I'll have some fun trying out some custom maps afterwards. 10/10 you guys, really looking forward to Grimrock III !
