Legend of Grimrock 2 is a dungeon crawling role playing game with a modern execution but an oldschool heart. A group of four prisoners have shipwrecked on the secluded Isle of Nex. The island is filled with ancient crumbled ruins, mysterious shrines and a vast underground network of dungeons.

One of the best games I've played wish they made a third there is not much else like it. Very fun dungeon crawler.
Played it years ago and liked it, but this version constantly crashes when saving.
what a great adventure. puzzles are very good, and exploration and attention to details is rewarded. one of its kind, and the greatest dungeon crawler since Eye of the Beholder

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game rules and, to my surprise, has TONS of tools and user-made content / mods so I can really play this one for a long time. It's like the grid-based dungeon crawlers of your youth except very good graphics. It's one of the best RPGS I've played in a long time and seems quite large. But, yeah, the art, style, mechanics, etc are all solid and this WILL hook you if you enjoy RPGs. One of those games where four hours just drop off the clock and you don't even realize and think "okay, just a few more minutes". Grab this one. Grab it on full price and REALLY grab it when on sale. I got this for like $5 and it's probably the best $5 I ever spent.
Absolute masterpiece of a dungeon crawler, 10/10 RIP Henri Hakkinen
One of the best Old School style rpgs ever made. Not only is the main game great but the modded dungeons are a lot of fun too. If you like rpgs at all, you should definitely play this one.
Amazing game, nothing quite like it since its release.
A+ atmosphere and music/soundscapes Better than the first game, which is already a great game
What can I say about this game, it's the first but more: more varied areas, maps, equipment, character classes etc. It polished the flaws in the first while not subtracting but adding (like adding moving in liquids while not "fixing" the circle strafing tech). Some would say that the game not taking place in a dungeon most of the time sucks, and I'd agree but I don't think a hundred hours of dingy stone walls and the same kinda scenery would be nice.
the game lacks controller support even though it says steamdeck verified I could not even break free of the cage at the start of the game! There is no tutorial on what to do. Just a brief description of mouse keyboard controls on main screen. I thought they would have fixed this by now, Playing on a Win Mini handheld. I may update my review after I have more time to tinker with the controls.
