Leaving Lyndow

I really enjoyed Eastshade and the Songs of Glimmerwick demo, which is why I decided to try Leaving Lyndow. It is very similar to Eastshade, but still a very pleasant experience. It is the ultimate comfort game. It's a gentle, cozy experience that leaves you feeling genuinely warm and grounded. With its soothing soundtrack and the calm lull of ocean waves, there is zero pressure, combat, or stress just a peaceful environment you are free to absorb at your own pace. The town is filled with delightfully strange, quirky characters who add a spark of humor and personality,.Its a interactive walking simulator.

A nice, atmospheric walking simulator that introduces the Eastshade world. A great game for when you want something simple and reflective to enjoy. As many previous reviews also suggest, I would buy this on sale due to its short length - but I enjoyed my time with it and look forward to playing Eastshade after.

Utterly enchanting - I could imagine myself living somewhere like this...

Es fühlt sich an wie die der Weg in den Sicheren Tod, aber auch ins ungewisse und eine Welt voller neuer Entdeckungen. Sehr hübsch anzusehen, sehr bittersüß und allgemein einfach cozy. Auch wenn am Ende nicht viel passiert oder man auch im ungewissen gelassen wird, macht einfach Freude die Umgebung zu erkunden und in die Stimmung einzutauchen. Serves more as a prologue to "Eastshade" than a standalone game. If you're interested in playing Eastshade, I do recommend, as there's a lot more to that game and playing this one is a good introduction. If not, this is merely a very short walking simulator that doesn't have enough context without the second game in my personal opinion. Check both games out for the full experience.
