About
『Lazy Witch’s Factory』 is a run-based rogue-lite factory builder.
You have only a short time to build a factory, make deals with demons, and repay a ridiculous amount of debt.
No time to take it easy.
Make the most of your limited time and resources.
Spaghetti lines and stopgap fixes are allowed.
If you fail to repay your debt before the deadline, you'll...
Actually, never mind.
Mine resources. Turn them into products. Sell them to pay off your debt.
Unfortunately, that won't be nearly enough. Make contracts with demons.
Short on raw materials? Rewrite the recipe.
Got too much iron ore? Transform it into a gem.
Short on cash? Just make some.
When your shift ends, everything resets. Except what you learned.
With each run, you'll get better at choosing the right contracts for the situation and building smarter synergies.
You play as Momoko, who signed up for “passive income” and ended up buried in debt.

Your workers are generally unmotivated and completely honest about their desires.
Whether they can be made to work properly depends entirely on how you manage them.
Salamanders seem to think blacksmithing is part of a workout routine.
Slimes enjoy the pain produced by distillation a little too much, and would rather make it last longer.

In the beginning, eternal life was the punishment cast upon sinners.
The manager Gehenna thought:
“Wonderful. This solves the overtime problem.”
You were cast down into a truly hellish work environment.
Still, not every demon in Hell wants to make your life worse.
Bored by immortality, the arch-demons now offer their help with your factory operations, each in their own highly questionable way.
Leviathan, a researcher, can greatly improve productivity through experimentation. As a side effect, Hell's entire water supply becomes contaminated.
Mammon, head of the infernal bank, can solve your cash-flow problems. Don't ask where the money came from.

Welcome to hell. Please clock in.
A frantic run to pay off your debt within a 30-minute time limit
Highly replayable gameplay that inflates production power through factory design skills and randomized options for greater strategic depth.
Diverse strategies based on sponsor character combinations
Cute characters and sarcastic humor

This game is criminally underrated, 735 players the first week of launch is absurdly low for how good the game is. Lazy witch's factory is kinda like a roguelike factorio game where you have 30 minutes to try beat each level. There's 8 sponsors for you to pick 3 of going into each run (although 2 aren't in the game yet and one of them is just terrible) and you try break the game as much as possible within the 30 minute time limit. My only con is it released in version 0.22, so a full release is a long way away, but there's only 2 unimplemented sponsors and little work to be done in terms of balancing. From my experience there's 2/3 sponsors that give you an endgame win condition and the rest just provide support for them, but what's weird is some of the support sponsors can carry you if you bring the right carry and that carry fails to get the upgrades it needs. For example, the raven girl exists just so you won't run out of transport options and is supposed to be a support, but if you pair her with the summoner and you don't get any of the buffs the summoner needs to go nutty there's a strong ability exclusive to the raven girl that lets you sacrifice all your unsummoned characters and gives you a gold per character every 5 seconds, and there's an upgraded version that makes that ability your basic right option. So you can just set your summoners up to summon characters to sacrifice instead of providing gold directly. I'd love to see more of these synergies between characters in the future and I feel the slime sponsor is criminally underpowered compared to the others. Like most of her upgrades increase the cost of her producing items, so she's the only money producer that isn't self sufficient if you upgrade her to much. It really feels like 60% of her "Buffs" are nerfs that waste precious upgrade slots making her basically unplayable past Hell1 difficulty. Apart from that it's an amazing game and I can't wait to see the next 2 sponsors!

Do you like the concept of a factory game but get turned off by the prospect of optimizing a vast and complex production chain? Do you like the aesthetic of a factory converting raw resources into refined valuable goods but don't want to open up a spread sheet work out if you're maximizing your profits? Do you like watching cute anime creatures toil for your own enrichment and amusement? Lazy Witches Factory gives you the short term dophamine hit of numbers going up without the huge time commitment. Each game is 30 minutes, you have to set up your production chain ASAP and you have no time to make it pretty. To win the game you have to pay off debt by producing and selling items worth money. At certain milestones you are offered "contracts" which give you different types of buffs. Ultimate success depends on building broken combos to rake in the cash before the timer runs out. While there is strategy involved in picking different contract sets (you can choose different sponsors before the game starts.) on higher difficulties the game can become more luck based because if you don't get the right contracts within the right time you're just not going to win. At the time of writing the game is in early access but has a decent amount of content with more planned for the future. Your mileage may vary but I can firmly recommend the game if it's on sale.
