É o bom e velho Klonoa. Não falta nostalgia. Super recomendo.
I'm going to admit I went into this game with no previous experience or knowledge of the series. I've recently finished the first one. It's a genuinely enjoyable experience, and refreshing to have a linear story that ends decisively instead of endless postgame content. I got reminded a little bit of some classic zelda games. Not necessarily because of the gameplay, but because of the storyline, which unexpectedly was more serious that I assumed based on just the art style. It's pretty easy to finish the game quickly but you can do extra content like time attack mode. The biggest draw for me is the characters though. Klonoa is just such a likable little cat rabbit creature. I checked out the animated mini movies of the PS1 version after finishing it, and I admit that it is a shame they weren't included. They give everyone so much more character.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The PEAKEST of the peak that bandai namco has released out of their basement, people need to give john klonoa its attention
I played the original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile when I was young and thoroughly enjoyed it. The music is absolutely phenomenal and the aesthetics and level design is cute and whimsical. It's still a kid's game and the story reflects that, but I enjoyed Ghadius and Joka as villains. The boss battles in this game are incredibly fun. I was very glad to play it again many years later and enjoyed every minute of it! Lunatea's Veil I had never played before, so I was sadly missing the nostalgia glasses for this one. The music was absolutely not as good as the first game, which was a huge disappointment. Mabye I will try again in the future without playing the first game, so the contrast in quality isn't as stark. As it is now, I will not be finishing the playthrough of Lunatea's veil. I'm very relieved I did not pay a lot of money to import this game to europe back when it came out, because I would have been absolutely crushed.
The ending of the first game gave me emotional damage but other than that absolutely phenomenal games. Love the soundtrack, storyline, characters and the overall game aesthetics. Highly recommend!
Uno de los mejores juegos de playstion 1. Amor puro y arte.
Cute platformers that don't get boring throughout, which a lot of simpler platformers tend to be but Klonoa manages to stay engaging, but it does sometimes get strangely difficult for a handful of parts but nothing too bad. The story of the first game is much better and gets to the point faster than the sequel, which have a lot of cutscenes yet the world and characters feel undercooked. In the end it's a fun game.
Small budget remasters which do their job in providing modern day equivalents for official play of two platforming gems. They are not replacements by any stretch, any players of the originals can tell you there are details in animation and visual effects which are just skimped out on here, there’s just a layer of polish missing which is hard to ignore as a longtime fan of these games and it should’ve been a pretty quick and simple patch all things considered, mods are your friend if it’s a sticking point for you. It’s still evident work was put into remastering these games, they look good in a vacuum, but with games as narratively-driven as these where theming is everything, the saturated colours and borked character expressions do not set the intended tone. Gameplay still gets the job done, I tend to hear about hitbox issues, but it’s something I hardly notice as an avid player of these games (the original especially has always been kinda precise when it comes to your Wind Bullet for me), I think it’s a bit more evident in the sequel, but I still don’t have much trouble playing through it as normal. Aside from those sticking points, it’s still Klonoa, wonderful platformers which achieve a lot with seemingly so little, the unique enemy double jump mechanic gets a lot more mileage than one would expect and it’s expanded on in the sequel with a variety of fun gimmicks, the 2.5D nature of both also allows for a lot of fun experimentation with the background and foreground across a flurry of visually distinct, dreamy environments which paint the worlds of Phantomile and Lunatea as truly expansive. I do not want to paint these remasters as worthless in their efforts either, the version of Klonoa 1 here is based off a controversial Wii remake that made confusing script changes de-emphasising the titular character’s dialogue and stuck with a more washed out visual style complete with divisive character redesigns, the remaster included here reverts all that back to something more in line with the original to mostly successful results, it’s mainly harbouring the bones of that version’s wonky cutscene animation which truly holds it back from the original still. Klonoa 2 is more a complete remake with redone models and textures, the environments look fantastic on their own and larger than life, they’d do a great job selling Lunatea as expansive a dream world as it is if it weren’t for the overly saturated colours. That being said, they also went out of their way to fix a few narrative inconsistencies from the original, that along with the faithfully recreated assets gives off this conflicting vibe that they really did want to make the definitive version of Klonoa 2, but some struggles in maintaining the game’s visual tone and character expressions unfortunately held them back. I really hope these devs get another shot on Klonoa because I can tell they cared about preserving these games as best they could with what they were given. They’ve proved they can take what they learned from remake work and effectively apply it to a new game with Once Upon a Katamari, so here’s hoping Klonoa 3 follows.
