Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
It's a shame this game doesn't have a more coherent balance between the excellent world building/lore, the weak RPG elements, and the quickly boring hack and slash combat. Exploration and the non-primary quests feel about as impactful as an MMO's (not very). The game throws way too much equipment and items at you, making for short boring gameplay loops with very little sense of accomplishment or reward. There just isn't enough of a hook to make me want to play.
How many hundreds of hours do you have to put into a game before a DLC bug makes it all a waste and prevents you from finishing the game? Too many.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Played when this first came out over 10 years ago and was great then. Now over 10 years later it feels better than most cookie cutter RPG's that get released today. It is truly a product of its time. But the product is still great
The game is great to play. Lots of fun and aggravation The only real gripes I have are the movement. The camera and movement keys are interlocked ( the same) so you cannot see the ground in front of you unless you stop. It takes some getting used to but it is manageable. The other is the max you can get is level 40. I'm quite a way from done ( I've just entered the Big area ( island) after Riffin and I'm already maxed in levels :(. But fighting, skills, spells everything is well balanced. I'm really enjoying it.
Terrible "remastering," game cannot even handle rebinding keys without soft-locking the entire input system. Lazy cash grab and not worth your time.
A fun, sand-boxy high fantasy game that's more hack-and-slash than role-playing imo, though there are choices to make in the game that influence what happens usually to more minor characters than anything. It has silly rag-doll physics but is definitely cleaner and more colorful than Elder Scrolls games. Nice voice acting, fun animation, and classic western fantasy hero story about defying fate. It's not inventive, its story is nothing to write-home about. Moreso than anything, it's pretty well-done graphics that aren't meant to be hyper-realistic, and imo, it's just solidly made and fun to play if you just wanna fight things, get fun lore read allowed to you from the lorestones, get into some messy situations that you don't really need to be invested in, and just all around have fun exploring. I've been playing this game for years, long before the re-reckoning addition. I enjoy the exploration, the lore, the looting, the crafting, the pretty high-fantasy magic, the music. It's a fun world to witness, a fun and whimsical escape. Don't really love how the creators continued the obnoxious tradition of just taking a bunch of names and words from Irish and I think maybe some Welsh lore and plastering it all over stuff that only vaguely resembles the original lore of those actual cultures. But this is nothing new. The books and media the game is based off did that first, and people before them did it as well. So I can't say I'd want another game like this made, nor in good conscience can I recommend buying the game at full price for those who also take issue with the reckless usage of cultural lore. Get it when it's on a really good sale. I can say that I'm happy with what KOA currently is as a game and hope that other creators will make more respectful choices in the future.
Kingdoms of Amalur has some of the strongest fantasy vibes I have experienced outside of World of Warcraft. The forests feel dense and overgrown, with enormous trees towering above you. The wastelands are not actually that large, but the rock formations and distant views make them feel much bigger. Its villages and cities also capture that medieval-fantasy atmosphere very well. I played on casual difficulty and focused only on the main quest. I realised quite early that if I tried to complete all the side quests and DLC, I probably would not finish the game at all. The story itself never really grabbed me, but I enjoyed experimenting with the different weapons and unlocking new moves and abilities. The combat can be frustrating, though. Dodge animations take long enough that avoiding certain attacks feels impossible, and sometimes one hit leads to being stunlocked by several more. Despite its flaws, I still recommend Kingdoms of Amalur for its world and atmosphere. If you are looking for a game filled with strong fantasy vibes, play on casual difficulty and it delivers.
I have made several attempts to get into this game. The graphics are pretty good, the combat is not particularly engaging, just button mashing is good enough to win most fights. The world, while pretty, feels like an empty walled maze The story tries but it just isn't very engaging. 4/10 at best
salut après 1055 heures de jeu ,je ne puis que le recommander bienheureusement
Started the original so long ago and quit after about 15 hrs because time wouldn't allow me to sit down and enjoy the lore. Can't even remember my build back then. Came back to start anew with Re-Reckoning and had a blast, or various. Went into sorcery culminating into an Arch-Mage and was quite OP towards the last 20 hrs or so. Such a lore-rich game, it's crazy. Didn't quite find a good setup for my super-ultra-wide screen, but enjoyed the exploration of the diverse lands. I'm glad to have seen this through and can only recommend it. Until all places are discovered for fast-travelling it's a lot of running - a lot. And it's so much loot. The amount of things I disassembled or sold as junk is baffling. Faction quests were all cool, as was the main story. Missing my Faer Gorta already, axing blindly through enemies to heal me.
