Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I once read an article about this game saying "it is the best rpg you never played". Totally agree. Great setting, great story, good remaster to flawlessly play in 2025. If you have a lot of time to delve into a new realm - this one is for you!
This is one of those "shut off your brain" kind of ARPGs. It's flashy and has good combat mechanics. You can save anytime and pick it back up anytime. Plays pretty well on the Steam Deck docked or otherwise. Ellen was definitely right about this game. Plus, can't go wrong with the collab work done by RA Salvatore and Todd McFarlane.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the best underrated RPG games I have ever played in my whole entire life 10 out of 10 in my own personal opinion its an enjoyable experience BUY THIS GAME!! You will not regret it.
Reminds me a lot of Dragon Age and Fable 2. An absolutely massive world to explore, decent variety of creatures, not a big variety of weapons but every weapon type has a lot of variable appearances and effects. It's pretty fast paced, lots of combat, but by no means a quick to beat game. Highly recommend, I haven't beaten the game yet, but I've had a lot of fun!
Still Mediocre
The remaster brings improvements, but it can't overcome the game's core shortcomings. Combat lacks depth, the skill trees and attack combos feel simplistic compared with more recent RPGs. However, the new Very Hard difficulty and the revamped level system keep the experience from going stale as quickly as the original. You can no longer accidentally overlevel and make every battle trivially boring, so the game remains moderately challenging throughout. The ability to change the FOV and other camera settings also boosted how combat feels. Bug fixes and armour drop rate tweaks removed many of the small annoyances that used to accumulate over an 80+ hour playthrough. Collecting a full armour set is still not seamless, but drops now tend to favour missing pieces for the sets you're wearing, or at least ones you could wear based on current stat allocation. If that fails, there's an NPC that sells unique gear in randomised boxes. It’s not as satisfying as organically finding the items you want, but it’s easy enough to save-scum the results, and the game does seem to try giving you complete sets. World-building was left untouched. While I appreciate the game being fully voice-acted and that the lore is competent, the story feels bland, unrealised, wasted. Even Kirkhope’s soundtrack can't save it, because the level and character designs are bare-bones. The open-world consists of small pockets of open areas, connected by corridors. Sometimes, especially by the end of the main story, even the open areas are corridor-like. Different biomes have distinct colour and lighting schemes, yet the layout makes me think of an MMO prototype. And there are no mounts whatsoever, so traversal to new locations means hours and hours of walking corridors. As for character design, it's very lazy. There are no children, and older NPCs are essentially the same models but with grey hair. Same voice actors too, with dialogue insisting they're old. When everyone looks the same, it's hard to care about them, their villages, or their sidequests.
The new DLC
It simply doesn't match the atmosphere of the rest of the game. It overcorrects the original's blandness by introducing character models, voice actors, and architecture that clash with the base design. It's impressive how much better the engine can be utilised, but it does create an inconsistent world. Another overcorrection is enemy density, the DLC just crammed in as much as the engine can handle. Battling became really repetitive. It adds only one new enemy type, introduces its own bugs, replaces Kirkhope’s OST with a generic score, and is stingy with fast travel points. The battle arenas are enjoyable, but you need to suffer with the DLC long enough to unlock them. Ultimately, it's best to wait for a hefty discount and be prepared for serviceable combat in a lacklustre world.
Thanks for the gift, Jet!
The good: Darling, the combat is a symphony of savagery – God of War's hack-'n'-slash ballet pirouetting with Diablo's loot lust, all spiced by Reckoning mode where you fate-shift into a whirlwind of viscera, turning foes into confetti for the Fae courts. The world? A psychedelic pastoral painted by Salvador Dalí on a sugar rush: emerald glades, bioluminescent grottos, and vistas that beguile like a siren's whisper. Destiny customization? Mix Might's brute ballet, Finesse's shadowy sleight-of-hand, and Sorcery's arcane fireworks into bespoke demigods – pure buildcraft bliss. Sprawling map brims with R.A. Salvatore's lore-drenched secrets, hoards of gleaming gear, and 100+ hours of gleeful genocide for the obsessively inclined. The bad: Narrative's a prophetic prophecy platitude: "Fateless One shatters the script!" – yawnier than a jaded seer after mead o'clock. Quests devolve into the fetch-kill-fetch-kill hamster wheel, NPCs monologue like they've got tenure in tedium, and voice acting? A motley of middling thespians and tipsy tavern tales. The ugly: Ah, the "Re-Reckoning" – remastering mastery redefined as necromantic negligence! THQ Nordic and Kaiko exhumed this 2012 relic, slathered it in 4K gloss, and let the primordial bugs fester like an unhealed Niskaru wound: that iconic moonwalking sprint glitch persists, your hero gliding backward through battles like a cursed cabaret reject; crashes ambush mid-boss with desktop-diving glee; textures phantom-pop like spectral squatters; and on Switch 2? Skybox cataclysms turn heavens into hallucinogenic hemorrhoids, even post-2025 Nintendo bandaids – graphics glitches galore, progression once borked, now merely mangled. Patches? Sporadic spells up to 2023's Fatesworn frippery, but in 2026, we're STILL submitting bug reports for these undead abominations. Design dreck like inventory idiocy, quest compasses to ♥♥♥♥-ups, and loot legerdemain endure – a fateless fiasco where devs reckon patching is for peasants, leaving us to wade through this glitch-ridden grave-robbing grift! The verdict: 5/10 Action RPG

🎮 Reseña de Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

Efectos (VFX)7Magia y golpes lucen bien; espectáculo cumplidor.
