Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is a good mix of civilization and Anno/Settlers. Feels more like Civ4-5 on the main map and very much like most good city builders on the city map. Lots of room to build and decent mechanics for the main map. Well worth the money.
I love it <3
I wish this game came with several pre-created saved games. I LOVE the strategy and military part. And we can start in any parto f the world, so I want to give it a shot in starting my African Empire, my Australian Kingdom and my Japanese mega state. But every time I start I need hours before I'm built sufficiently to start making potent armies. The way it is now, I guess I'll just have to extend my preparations so much that I'll just shoot for world Empire at once 😊. Hope FPS is also improved with latest update. My borders will span continents

Few years ago my favourite game on GOG was Patron, from these same devs. For some reason I believed Kaiserpunk was similar game just set in a different time period. Well, it’s not! Kaiserpunk is much more “adult” and serious game, set in a grim era. Gameplay is lightyears more extensive but also harder to learn. Kinda love seeing how a dev team matures through their games. Sadly, the scope of game is also so big that few elements just aren’t fleshed out as they should. For example, if you make surrounding factions angry by attacking them, expect an aggressive retaliation, and if you realize attack was a mistake and you want to appease them through diplomacy, it likely won’t work. They will pursue the war with you until you yield or they are eliminated completely. Not sure why we even have diplomacy if every war, once started, turns into dead or alive crusade. Unlike Patron, Kaiserpunk requires parallel thinking and setting up long term goals much before you act in a rush. Hasty decisions here can have dire consequences. Game is fantastic mental gymnastics, and if you’re also ready to look above some bugs and imperfections, can be recommended.
great game but giving it a downvote due to the game crashing every other time i try to save. sucks to lose your progress ill change my review when the games fixed.
It's hard for me to understand why some bigger team never tried to make a game like Kaiserpunk. Idea is just fantastic and gives such a deep boost to regular colony sim type of games. But it's also a painfully huge amount of work to make something like this. Interestingly, a small dev team decided to tackle this challenge. Probably one of the reasons I value small developers lately. In terms of pure production quality, Kaiserpunk has its downsides. It's obviously not a game developed with big budget (visible in amount of animations, effects, CGI's, superfancy visuals etc…). But man it's fun. You can spend hours and days building your city, organizing your society and pushing up industries to create an abundance for your people. But, in most other builders that would be the point in itself, and it can be satisfying enough. However in Kaiserpunk, that's only half of the fun. Once all that is achieved (and it's not easy by any stretch of imagination), you can start preparing for showdown with other nations. Invest in weapons, recruiting, army training, airforce and navy… Then show everyone on the world why your development model is the best. Warfare is the best way to showcase just how strong and resilient your people and indistries are. Note that entering the state of war is again not the end. It changes your priorities in the long term but task remains challenging. As long as you are in war, task is to maintain, secure and expand the flow of soldiers, supplies and all war materials to the front. Without it, your shiny troops will be annihilated after a short while. My biggest regret about this game is the lack of multiplayer. Building parralel city-states with my friends, then have a huge showdown to compare what city-state is the most powerful and has most endurance for a long conflict… that would be epic. But even without is, experience you'll get out of Kaiserpunk will be a great one.
This game is a pure trouble simulator 😊 . That's all you do – you build and expand, and behind every corner there is new disaster or trouble. You scramble to constantly fix something. Too few resources? Too much resources? People leaving? People uncontrollably pouring in? No electricity, no water? Food is poor, unions are striking?... After making my digital lemmings finally happy, I feel ready to take up a real mayor's position! I'm a problem solver so I love a game that tries to break me!
Если хотите сломать себе зрение,вам сюда!!!Игра настолько темная,что я выкрутил яркость и гамму на максимум,нифига не видно!!!Хотя сама игра неплоха,как мне показалось!В общем смешанные чувства!!!
A Year ago I played demo version during demofest for quite a while. I loved Anno-ish building system, but found the warmap side of game lacking. The way war was waged was just too… modern. I was ready to start my conquest at the end of 1920, and wanted the war to resemble what we really saw in early 20th century. After this update, I prefer the combat much more. Much much more. Combat is grueling, long term and exhausting. Borders are important, and you just throw in bodies and weapons to advance. The biggest industry in the background, the better chances of success. Now, that is a proper industrial war. Bravo for this update devs! Can we now get armored train system?
Kaiserpunk made me sweat in already hot summer days. If my apartment wasn’t climatized, I’d have a big issue with that . As any game there are great features as well as ones that honestly suck. But overall package is not bad at all. Let me explain what I loved the most – everything linked to warfare. Even here game doesn’t shine in all aspects, but I was most drawn to war element. Reason is because you are in direct control of everything related to military endeavours. You’re industry boss setting up production and deciding how many tanks, handguns, airplanes and cruisers you’ll have. Then you’re the CFO deciding how to allocate and pay for upkeep of all that hardware. Finally, you’re also a general that decides how to organize armies, where to send them and how to direct battles. I LOVE the fact you control everything in this entire chain. No excuses for failure. It’s hard to get everything right, but if you succeed, taste of victory is the sweetest. Before you become successful, you’ll likely start and fail a number of sessions, but just endure. Once you get the proper strategy, it if fun as hell. Until second Australian corps runs you over for the fourth consequtive time.
