Jusant is a brand-new action-puzzle climbing game and a meditative journey to the top of a tall tower. Challenge yourself at your own pace, explore different paths, and unravel the secrets from a bygone civilization.
Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower. As you go higher and hone your skills, you’ll have to figure out how best to use the tools at your disposal to get to where you want to go. Explore alternative paths to find clues about what happened here.
Play at your own pace. As you climb, you’ll come across breathtaking biomes full of flora and fauna, accompanied by a peaceful and atmospheric soundtrack. Brace yourself on arid, windy slopes, seek refuge in tunnels lit only by bioluminescence, and more.
Meet the mysterious Ballast. This creature will help guide you throughout your journey by waking nature along your path and helping to reveal clues that will help you piece together the tower’s past and reach the top.

Masterpiece! This game takes you to another world. The climbing is engaging and kept fresh by beautiful different biomes. The artwork and music and lore all combine to take you to another world. It scratched an itch I've had since outer wilds to be immersed in another world. Easily in my shortlist of favorite games.

Le jeu est vraiment excellent, les images sont magnifiques, les musiques parfaitement choisis, une ambiance relaxante et chill parfaite. Malgré sa relativement courte durée, Jusant propose de l'exploration, de l'histoire et du léger défis, je recommande vivement.
Mostly relaxing, perfect for when you are in the mood for something different. Can also be enormously frustrating 😂 Full of charm, great environment design with mostly good climbing mechanics. Can be a little glitchy with your character and/or rope getting caught up in scenery that doesn't want to play nice. Overall, very much worth your time if you enjoy games that dare to be different. Get it on sale if you really aren't sure. The views are worth it!

cool concept
A note for Steam Deck owners: You may need to switch to an older Proton version to get the game running. It's also not particularly well optimized, draining the battery fairly quickly, so lowering some graphics settings is recommended for a smoother experience. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough of [i]Jusant[/i]. Its minimalist presentation and clean user interface enhance the sense of exploration, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world at your own pace. The climbing controls take a little time to get used to, but the mechanics are simple and well balanced, striking a nice middle ground between relaxed traversal and more demanding climbing sequences. The toughest sections took me a few attempts, but I wouldn't consider this a particularly challenging game. Overall, it's a wonderful, short, and relaxing experience that's perfect when you want to unwind. Although you're climbing alone, the letters you discover and the places you reach gradually reveal a thoughtful and engaging story.
