best vr game i own
into the radius 2 feels questionable to me. i understand they wanted to try out a slightly different and modified version of their previous installment, into the radius (1). however, there's a bit of soul missing for itr2 that was in itr1 in a weird way. + One of the more recent updates for gun customization parts is very cool + Gun play is adequate, however you should adjust whether or not you want virtual stock (I play with it off, and you can also adjust the X Y axis to fine tune), but be careful, sometimes the gun floats (may be a performance issue with me, idk) + In the latest update, they added lootable scrap/stash guns + Weapon cleaning is very cool for that type of person who enjoys it * The enemies in the game are a little sub-par. They're not really special. Most are remastered/refurbished and improved from ITR1, but are essentially the same enemies in idea and practice. * L's voice actor has had voice line changes and does not speak paragraphs of dialogue anymore, allowing you to quickly move on (if that's your thing) * Same goes with the UNPSC manager lady - I have a toaster and run this game very poorly in multiplayer, even with reduced resolution and low graphics options - The anomaly fields feel terrible and awful (I recommend turning them to low amounts spread and/or low damage) - Artifacts feel much more like a monetary item than anything else - The upgrade feature from ITR1 is not present (upgrading fire rate, etc) i will recommend this game on the premise of "i really like the features and ideas in this game" but i can't really "play" it past the first area and the base. i can't get the full enjoyment out of it due to poor performance. 6/10, thumbs up NVIDIA RTX 3050 (Laptop) card Quest 3S 128 GB running on OpenXR Runtime: Oculus (it's the only game for me that runs terribly on SteamVR, if you're having performance issues i've heard Virtual Desktop is worth buying)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played through the game in coop. Lots of bugs in coop but it's not 1.0 so it's understandable. We had the enemies up to high, along with loot, and quest rewards. The game was fun but rarely was it ever challenging. I love the vest/helmet/bag customization that you can do. Along with how much you can customize the weapons. The story was pretty lacking and you can get through it very fast if you aren't loot goblins like we were. It's not terrible but it's lacking. I would still recommend the game as it's a cool game and worth the money. Hopefully they expand on the story. The ending was very disappointing. The last mission was the best and if the whole game was like that, then this would be a 10/10 game. I'd give it a 6.5/10 as it currently sits. I wish there was a setting that allowed you to have less loot the more the tide comes through. So set the loot setting to very high, and then every time the tide comes through, it spawns 5 percent less loot. I think the enemies get a little bit stronger every time the tide comes through, but that's a mixed bag on if that's true or not. Enemy AI is pretty dumb. Several times they would look right at the player and just stand there. I wish the enemies would coordinate more with each other to push the player. They like to just run around like they are a puppy with lots of energy and unsure where to go. Overall great game. Lots of bugs still (again in coop), we had fun with it and will def come back and play it again in a year or two when more has been done to it. Hopefully they give the player a chance to actually use level 5 stuff more.
7/10 Good game + Gunplay + Atmosphere + Worldbuilding + Customizable gear - hitboxes bigger then visually - enemies shoot through objects - some elements are missing: shooting range, final mission reward - generic story (or maybe I just don't like mystery) If they fix bugs, add some more late game challenges, a shooting range and a fitting reward for finishing the game this will be a 9/10 VR Game.
I want to write a longer review praising this game one day, but for now all I will say is that this is one of the most valuable titles to own on VR alongside Bonelab and H3VR for the sheer amount of polished content that they provide. Games like this make me so excited for where VR is going as a video game genre. ITR2 is such an improvement on ITR1 in the state it is in. In my opinion, ITR2 has better: -Shops -Enemies -Horror -Resource Management -Customization -Loot Systems -Story -Gun Realism My only grief is that the organization of loot and items feels incredibly worse compared to ITR1. The holsters, pouches, backpacks and rigs are deceptive in their grabbing-boxes, and inconvenience me to a large degree. The backpack is incredibly tiny for the amount of crap you end up shoving in there, and you will most likely end up grabbing the handle of an altered teacup 12 times trying to reach the ammo box you accidentally shoved in the corner of your backpack's "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corner", god forbid you decide to return story items before selling the 26 screwdrivers and rasps you just had to have. The rig pouches work too well when you don't need them to, but also can fail to catch items when you desperately need them to.
Best cigarette smoking simulator ever. The other stuff is cool too.
Genuinely a good experience, even with the jank in place Ive got 20 odd hours in a single co-op save with my friend and its been the best 20 odd hours spent this summer would 100% recommend, this game does tend to have a memory leak issue though, so be cautious
Negative parts: - Optimization: My Steam Link connection struggles heavily in this game, leading to constant crashes. - Overly realistic guns: The developers aimed for full realism with the firearms, but it feels like a bit too much, making gun handling overly complicated and frustrating. In critical, high-tension moments, drawing my pistol feels like a 50/50 coin toss—half the time it refuses to shoot, jams, or the safety somehow toggles itself on. (maybe not really a negative part for someone but for me personally that felt very frustrating to always check my gun few seconds before going to combat and be absolutely unprepared for ambush of enemies) Positive parts: - Gameplay: Great gameplay featuring a lot of awesome mechanics. - Atmosphere & Visuals: Great overall atmosphere and stunning visuals. - Level Design: Nice, well done atmospheric level design. - Story: Good, engaging story with solid lore
I really love the game and played a lot before Version 1.0. Seeing the new stuff and the story is wonderful. Idk why but in the current version (1.0.6) my PC has troubles in the UNPSC Facility after I come back from the Radius. Is this beacuse of my VRAM or is it an issue for others too? If somebody can tell me, please do so.
Played through this from start to finish with a friend. About 33 hours of playtime total. Fun game! DEFINITELY needed more time in the oven, we ran into bugs and glitches (that would end up getting fixed) and there's a bit of jank going on. A few things we modded to balance it out. There are more features coming (like a lab where you can add modifiers?) so it would be worth waiting I think, since I don't think there's much reason to return upon completion unless they add more story/zones/security levels. One of the few times I would've LOVED to see this become a live-service type game. There's really nothing else quite like this. More enemies, more item variety, more security levels to reach, more zones to explore. Maybe a rogue-lite mode? There's a LOT of potential here.
