The game is good, but the bots are terrible. I was in one of those big barns on the Delta map; there were only two enemies left to kill, and one of them stuck his gun through the wall and killed me without even seeing me. That kind of thing needs to be fixed immediately.
Worth your time.
After spending $150+ on Tarkov to get all future content for free, only to have Nikita say “sike”, I decided to escape for good and find something worth my time. Incursion Red River is just that. I enjoy PvP, but with how prevalent cheaters are in modern FPS games, IRR is a breath of fresh air. The AI is rather advanced compared to that in most tactical shooters. They lean around corners, prefire when engaging you, and even maintain suppressive fire on your last known location. The settings for the AI are also very accommodating, letting you tweak almost anything about them. One thing I didn’t hate about Tarkov was its inventory system—specifically the in-depth stash management, weapon customization, and overall item organization; IRR is the same. Also, the visuals are great and the game runs perfectly even on max graphics settings. As for mechanics, the gunplay feels solid and the movement is fluid. You can't zip around at Mach 5 like in CoD, but you aren't an obese turtle like in Tarkov. As for suggestions, I wish the vaulting animation was a bit smoother—more like a quick hurdle over low obstacles if you’re sprinting into it, rather than stepping on top of them. Jumping and catching yourself on ledges would also be really cool, even if it consumes a lot of stamina. Regarding Safehouse upgrades, having to collect all required items before turning anything in creates unnecessary stash clutter. Allowing partial hand-ins would leave more space for important equipment. Lastly, I think I speak for everyone when I say the ability to go prone would be much appreciated.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Totally worth it so far. Looks great, maps are good, it's realistic without being too sweaty, has a lot of content considering it's an early access, and the option to customize ai is great to have. My only complain is sound, and not because it's bad but because in this kind of game sound is really important so it should be great, and it isn't. I feel like enemy footsteps sound the same wether the enemy is 50 meters away or just around the vehicle your hiding behind, so despite being able to know in which direction enemies are, you cannot determine how far they are (this is actually fun sometimes because it creates tension, but it turns out disappointing when you hear an enemy that sounds like it's 2 meters away just around a corner to be on the complete opposite side of the building). Optimization is not great either but considering how many ue5 full release games launch poorly optimized, I feel it's too much to ask for an early access alpha build to have good optimization. Currently runs at ~60fps on a 9060xt @1440p max settings, fsr quality, with drops to ~40fps depending on map zone/weather. Obviously it could be better if I lower the settings but I like to play it slow and with relatively easy ai so it's perfectly enjoyable that way and I rather sacrifice some fps for the great visuals it has.
Had a lot of fun in-game but was in constant fear and disappointed when i had 5 good raids that ended bad due to unscheduled blackouts here in Philippines. Hope in the future the dev will include to save before the raid, so sudden disconnects wouldn’t throw away my expensive-but-good builds. I know it’s our government’s fault, but i hope this will be an option that the dev can squeeze in. Thank you.
Red River can be said to be one of the more suitable games for "retirement" among similar games currently available on the market, whether it's the adjustable AI difficulty or the ability to play without competing with other players, both of which are very comfortable. However, the enemy AI's damage is inconsistent, often behaving erratically. Sometimes, players can survive with the same difficulty level, while at other times, they die inexplicably. Another issue is that there are currently too few selectable firearms, which needs to be continuously supplemented in subsequent versions. Overall, it's a pretty good game. Additionally, I hope there will be more levels of hideouts and larger storage boxes, and it would be even better if there were decorations like potted plants.
Greatly looking forward to the rumoured update. I keep coming back to this game. Run a mission at my own pace or sometimes go in with just a knife and come back with some cool weapons and some loot (or die). Only downside for me is the intel extraction puzzle at the end of some missions which I cant solve. It is central to the progression, which is a bummer. Why have a puzzle in a FPS anyway? There are other mission options so no big deal. The AI opposition can be set to the challenge level you want, which you can inch up with experience. I think this will become a classic franchise if it survives the startup phase.
