Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From the creators of Black Mesa: When the richest CEO on Earth dies, cutthroat conglomerates seek to carve up his kingdom. Using the MERX app, rival tycoons can order private mercenary armies as easily as takeout, making them perfect soldiers for the corporate war! Only Rogue Point, an elite vigilante squad, dares to fight back.

Dive into an adrenaline-fueled campaign where explosive co-op firefights meet strategic planning. Team up, gather intel, complete objectives, and battle through dynamic missions. Earn skills and upgrade weapons to confront the 5 Star Mercenaries, lethal contractors who will test the limits of your team.

Each MERX class has their own AI playstyle that packs a punch in their own unique way.
Not to be underestimated, the soldier is the workhorse of the MERX squads. Soldiers will utilize their environment and work with other squad units to challenge Rogue Point head-on.
Juiced up on substances and with no regard for their own life, the Berserker's singular goal is to close the distance and slice your whole team with a machete. They are agents of chaos and will wreck your carefully crafted game plan.
Heavily fortified in the far distance, snipers will pin your team down and deny you entry into important areas. Their only tell is the laser beam from their gun, and your teammate’s head exploding next to you.
Quick-footed and fast-talking, the Lookout disrupts your squad with flashbangs and relentless hit-and-run tactics.
Heavies are big, slow brutes that don’t take cover and eat bullets. You can dump all your ammo into them with no effect. Run the other way, or find their one weakness.
These legendary MERX have received the top-tier 5-star rating in the app. They should be approached with caution and treated as extremely dangerous to you and your team. Intel on these MERX is sketchy, but we know that these endgame encounters will require your team’s full strength to have a chance to take them down.

Rogue Point is easy to learn and hard to master, perfect for both fresh recruits and seasoned veterans. Crave fast-paced action? How about slow, methodical, skill-driven gameplay? Rogue Point kicks open the door to both those worlds and invites players to choose their own playstyle.

jumping from 0.6.1 to 1.0 while adding relatively little content to a game that badly needs it is certainly a choice. I've seen no indications they are planning on continuing updates after 1.0. if they are about to ship the game with 1 new map (for a grand total of like 5), 1 new boss (so we'll have exactly 2 to my knowledge), and 3 new guns and then claim the game is feature complete and doesn't need more updates they don't deserve anybody's money. if 1.0 isn't the last major content update maybe I revise my review in future, but let's be real here if they weren't about to ditch the game this would probably be 0.7 rather than 1.0. have fun on your next project Crowbar Collective, because I sure as ♥♥♥♥ am not even giving it a passing glance.
I love this game. I've givens lots of feedback toward it, and I want it to succeed. But the 1.0 update looks disappointing. quoting the actual official access statement: "We have an extensive Wishlist for what we want in the game. Some items include: - A well-balanced economy and fine-tuned gameplay - New maps - New weapons, attachments, and gear - Gender and ethnicity options for player characters - Workshop support - Improved AI" The 1.0 update is only adding 1 map, a few guns and cosmetics (no new attachments/gear), and 1 boss. Classic case of over promise, under deliver. I very much would have preferred 0.7 or 0.8 first, but I will change this review after a few large post-launch content updates.

Fun game, but it needs some work. There's quite a few odd quirks with bugs and performance that get pretty grating. Then there's plenty of design choices that just don't seem great. A lot of the gadgets just don't feel worth using for whatever reason. Difficulty is very unbalanced, too. Game is really hard as solo, but very easy with four players. Meanwhile, the devs are now soon to release it into 1.0. Clearly rushed and it makes me uncertain for the game's future. This game had a ton of potential. Hope this doesn't mean the devs are pulling the plug on the game so soon. I'll make sure to change this review if I get proven otherwise, but for now, I cannot really recommend this game to anyone unless you get it massively on-sale and want to kill a few hours.
Wow, what a slap in the face. First time ever leaving a negative review. Game has great potential but the devs jumped from 0.6 to 1.0, without including features that were promised. I bought the supporter pack hoping to help the devs invest in the future of their game but it seems like they have other ideas. As a dev myself I tend to be pretty charitable when it comes to this kind of thing and holding negative opinions of a studio but this really does just feel like a rug pull so that they can go work on something else. I will never be purchasing another product from this studio again unless they support this game for a long time past 1.0, and I am certainly not holding my breath. The best thing to come out of this whole thing is that my friends and I now use 'grabbing a merx phone' as a regular bit in everyday conversation. Probably won't be booting this one up again.
You know rushing an objective doesn't apply game development, right?
This game was NOT ready for a 1.0 launch. The 1.0 launch should have been a 0.7 update instead. As mentioned by others already, the roadmap planned before launch contains the following: - A well-balanced economy and fine-tuned gameplay - New maps - New weapons, attachments, and gear - Gender and ethnicity options for player characters - Workshop support - Improved AI On launch, we have only received 1 new map (Clinic) and 1 new boss enemy, for a total of 5 maps and only 2 bosses. Gender and ethnicity options for the player character has been completely skipped for the launch. AI is still incredibly barebones, enemy accuracy is all over the place from where they will either miss you entirely or snipe you across the room with perfect accuracy with pistols and SMGs. Stealth is practically non-existent as enemies will seemingly alert at random, and follow the age old basic AI strategy of "Everyone knows where the player is and will run at a straight line at them until they die". The game offers "tactical" options such as breaching charges, ladders, and optiwands for peeking doors, but in all of my gameplay, I have never seen ANY player, not even ONCE using these tools because there is no incentive to play in this manner, especially since the suicidal charging AI won't even humor this kind of approach. The game essentially boils down to running through a map and shooting everything that moves in a glorified shooting gallery, and depending on in-game skills to provide things such as "Armor on Kill" to keep yourself alive. The armor system barely works as it feels like almost every engagement will completely deplete your armor if you take any damage whatsoever, making it a barely functioning second healthbar that once again, depends on skills to regenerate your armor for it to have any tangible gameplay effect. The entire game is a battle of attrition on how many Medkits and regen skills you have. Solo play is also balanced poorly, as HVTs (the final bosses of each run) are horrendously scaled bullet sponges that can kill you incredibly quickly, and since you're the only target, leads to players being forced to "cheese" bosses by abusing things such as running in circles around objects and pixel peeking in order to slowly wittle them down. The game needed a lot, LOT more time to cook, and it's incredibly disappointing that this version has been deemed "enough" for a full 1.0 launch despite still feeling like an Early Access game trying to find what it wants to be. The lack of marketing and low player counts probably means that the game will likely be on maintenance mode until the lights finally turn off at this rate, with the 1.0 launch and sale very much feeling like a last hurrah to cash in and recoup losses. The roguelike part of the experience is almost completely pointless anyways, with most guns feeling like different shades of the same kind of paint color, where a player could reasonably use almost anything to complete each run. Players very quickly reach maximum strength after 2 or 3 missions, and the only real hurdle is rerolling the random skills you obtain from the multitude of completely useless ones to get "Armor on Kill". Only in a quite recent update (the one right before the 1.0 actually) was permanent progression added, which boils down to straight up number increases to things such as equipment carried, max health, and starting money, which only further makes the game easier as you'll soon be strong enough to buy the best guns the second you start. The idea of a Coop roguelike tactical shooter made by the same team behind Black Mesa enticed me to buy this game on day 1, and to see such a great idea that clearly has passionate developers behind the project thrown so haphazardly out the door and called "finished" is incredibly disappointing. It feels pretty insulting to the very small playerbase that stuck with the project from the beginning, and I really wish things were better than this, and I really believed that if the game actually had the time to find its footing and fulfill the fantasy it wanted, it could have been great. Don't get this.
The devs just gave up
Well that's cool they just gave up on it
I'm quite disappointed in the state of this game, especially in what's supposed to be the 1.0 version. stutters are still prevalent in every gunshot, gameplay still feels floaty, ai is still just as dumb as it was in early access. its really sad cuz i truly enjoyed some of the elements that this game had going for it. workshop is here, but are people really gonna make content for a game that's so mediocre? idk, hopefully im wrong, but in this case, i doubt it. Crowbar collective not only overpromised, but under delivered. And due to this, i am no longer interested in what they might bring next. This product is further proof that the black mesa project was truly a lightning in a bottle for this studio.
