The city builder strategy game Imperium Romanum is set in the time-honoured Roman Empire. As governor of a Roman province, you will devise a strategy to build a well organised, prosperous and commanding settlement. Its fortune very much lies in your own hands.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really liked this game as a kid, so I've come back to play it after 15 years to see if it holds and unfortunately it doesn't. Now it's very charming and has that early 2000s handcrafted game feel to it that I miss from that era of gaming, but after 2 hours I've built a fully self-sustainable city on a hard difficulty map and there wasn't much left for me to do. The city management is skin deep and once you get a hang of basic resources and food you are never in danger of failing. You don't even need to keep your citizens happy so long as you have enough prefects to break up riots. The barbarian AI can be easily tricked by building a single tower on their road which will cause them to siege it giving you time to prepare. With all that being said, it is still a charming game and I'd recommend giving it a try at least once, especially if it's on sale.

This is an old game, and honestly, there’s not much to say about it anymore. Even among older strategy games, it doesn’t really stand out. The gameplay feels very simple — you can just click, build things, and finish the campaign without much thinking. There’s no real story, just a set of basic tasks. Visually, everything blends together. Buildings look too similar, and it’s often unclear what is what. It takes extra effort just to understand what’s happening on the map. The mechanics also feel a bit odd. Units don’t always behave clearly — some stop working for no obvious reason. The “radius” system makes things feel less logical compared to other strategy games where roads define movement. Overall, it’s okay for casual play, but compared to other strategy games, it feels very basic and unremarkable.
game is almost perfect the ony bad thing is that player has to provide welfare manualy
jednoduché,intuitivní ovládání příjemný design různé variace- strategie, budování, časovka
Very good Ancient Building Game with many Hour Fun either Sandbox or Campaigns.
Nice city-builder that occasionally shows its age on modern hardware.
