The city builder strategy game Imperium Romanum is set in the time-honoured Roman Empire. As governor of a Roman province, you will devise a strategy to build a well organised, prosperous and commanding settlement. Its fortune very much lies in your own hands.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

It's not bad, but time has caught up with it. It feels repetitive after a while, and the AI isn't that great. It's okay if you want to revisit older titles, but there are much better games in the genre available nowadays.
old but still holds up, flash back to better times
Only 5 hours on steam. But countless lifetimes played when I had the physical disk back in the day. This game is still the standard for Roman city building that I hold any new game of the genre today. I could just sit and watch the brick makers and bakers work for hours…then the barbarians burned the rest of the city down.
Good graphics. Enjoyable game play.
Muy bueno
Just a fun and mostly chill and simple old game with a lot of care put into it. Worth the $10
Very classic strategy city builder with a bit of historical lessons to it. Realized after playing for 30 minutes that you can change the resolution. Just thought it was so old that 4:3 ratio was the way it came.
