Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

Crawl through Cyberspace: Scour the darkest corners of the Web for scumbag users who violate Hypnospace law!

i just woke up to find this sitting at the top of my steam library. i've never seen this game and definitely didnt buy it but there it is, in my library with 13 minutes already played and a save file with my name which i never use. no idea what's going on both in game and out of it but idk i guess thumbs up cool game
It's a good bit of nostalgia for the Old Internet, but the gameplay is often obtuse. I had to resort to walkthroughs several times to know just what the heck it wanted from me. But a good experience overall.

A mindblowing, totally unexpected 90s internet simulator with a plot that is far deeper than you would expect with a lot (and I mean it) secrets, a GIGANTIC soundtrack (9,5 hours of music!!) with many different styles, a lot of mini games, editors, a LOT of mods, stickers, wallpapers, themes, mouse themes, sound themes, you name it. This game has so much content that your average AAA game wouldn't fit and a lot more sense, really. Just don't rush, read through every page and you'll see the whole big picture.

great game, you just browse these fake vibey websites with banging music that with time and exposure really grew on me, simple game and ill be honest sometimes it frustrated me and the font gives me headaches but its a unique good time, its sad shortly before i beat it the spiritual successor the devs were making was scrapped and its so sad it was centered in 2000s a time i can relate and it had fake flash games, so sad really it would have probably easily resonated more then this game
so amazing and one-of-a-kind!!! hypnospace outlaw is one of the greatest games of all time!!!!!!
This game is such a gem but its super hard, I had to use a walkthrough by like case number 5 but the overall experience was so memorable. loved the characters and seeing how it all unfolded at the end. some of the most satisfying credits I've seen roll. Really great game but its tough as nails.
