It aint bad just needs a lot of polish but considering its still really early access i can give it a pass they definitely made the game way too easy now tho
This was a game that I thought a lot of potential to become a refreshing take on the rogue-like genre. Instead we get a half baked "game" that gets cancelled. This game deserved so much better.

Unfinished stillborn Early Access slop. Plays like a wet shart and won't get better because development is halted. Should probably mention something about that on the store page lol
A disappointing entry in an otherwise great IP. This was certainly a promising concept, and had they decided on a direction and balanced things properly maybe it would have been. The campaign for the beta early-access release also felt huge for what a janky game it was at the beginning, especially. Hope for better things in Hyper lights future.
game good
This is a sequel that severely misunderstands what made Hyper Light drifter fun and interesting in the first place, despite what the devs may describe it as, the gameplay loop is extremely boring for a roguelike, the game is severely poorly optimized and there's very little point in using all of the options that the game gives you with combat and weapons since every single combat encounter is intended to be solved with the parry button and that's it. Game is buggy as hell, enemies are boring, bosses are lame, and despite being an early access game they already confirmed that they are going to not give this game any more updates, do not support it and do not waste your money on this
Рассматривая отдельно от заслуг HLD получилась вполне приятная игра. Изучать локации интересно, боевка требует навык и наказывает за невнимательность, постепенное развитие геймплея имеется, думаю что хватит надолго
I love this game. I hope they make it a, "forever game". Highly recommended with friends.
Hear me out. I love the idea and concept of the Game. It looks like fun. And I know its Early Access. I had to refund it. I dont have a bad PC. (GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core | 32 GB RAM) If I turn off the shadows, I get like 100-200 FPS. (game looks like *gags* obviously) If I put the shadows on. on the lowest, its trying its best to maybe hit 50, which is not fun for an action combat game. Its poorly Optimized. Once they optimize the game I will buy it again and change my review.
The gameplay is amazing, its Nier, Enter The Gungeon and Risk of Rain 2 in one game. Its not easy and its got a decent learning curve, so you come back for more, which i really love. The multiplayer is good but is somehow still broken, they need to implement a possibility to rejoin if you dc in the middle of a run. The content added is also amazing, with caves and more to explore, more bosses, makes it very engaging and fun to do runs over and over, just like ETG and Risk of Rain 2.
