Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

🎯 Rating: 7/10 📜 Overview How to Survive is an action-adventure survival game developed by Eko Software and released in 2013. Set on a mysterious island during a zombie apocalypse, players are tasked with surviving by scavenging for resources, crafting weapons, and defending themselves from hordes of zombies. The game features a mix of open-world exploration, action, and survival mechanics, with an emphasis on managing hunger, thirst, and health. Players can explore the environment, take on quests, and gather materials to craft useful items like weapons and tools to increase their chances of survival. 🌟 Pros ✅ Engaging Survival Mechanics: The game does a good job of making survival feel challenging by requiring players to manage basic needs like hunger, thirst, and health. ✅ Crafting System: A deep crafting system allows players to combine items and resources to create new weapons, tools, and survival equipment, adding layers to gameplay. ✅ Zombie Combat: Engaging combat mechanics allow players to fight off zombies using a variety of weapons and tools, from guns to makeshift melee weapons. ✅ Multiplayer Mode: The game includes co-op multiplayer, allowing friends to join forces to survive together and tackle challenges as a team. ✅ Atmosphere and Story: The setting and atmosphere of the zombie apocalypse are immersive, with detailed environments and a story that gradually unfolds as you progress. ⚠️ Cons ❌ Repetitive Gameplay: The game’s core loop of scavenging, crafting, and fighting zombies can become repetitive over time, especially for players looking for more varied gameplay. ❌ Clunky Controls: Some players find the controls to be unintuitive, especially when it comes to combat and navigation, leading to frustrations during more intense moments. ❌ Limited AI: The enemy AI can be basic and predictable, which reduces the challenge in some areas of the game. The zombies don't always present a significant threat once players get the hang of combat. ❌ Outdated Graphics: While functional, the visuals are relatively dated, and the game’s overall design feels somewhat behind modern survival games. ❌ Story Issues: While the story is intriguing, it can feel disjointed and underdeveloped in certain parts, with the narrative taking a backseat to the survival mechanics. 💬 Player Sentiment Positive Reviews: Players generally enjoy the crafting system, the sense of survival challenge, and the co-op multiplayer feature. The game is appreciated for offering a decent survival experience without being overly complex. Negative Reviews: Common criticisms include the repetitive gameplay loop, clunky controls, and lackluster enemy AI. Some also point out that the graphics and story don’t hold up as well against other survival games in the genre. 🎯 Target Audience 🔹 Fans of survival games looking for a straightforward, zombie-themed experience. 🔹 Players who enjoy crafting, scavenging, and exploration mechanics. 🔹 Those looking for a co-op multiplayer experience to survive with friends. 🔹 Zombie apocalypse enthusiasts who are seeking a basic survival challenge rather than a more in-depth experience. 🏆 Rating Breakdown 🎮 Gameplay: 7.5/10 🎨 Visuals: 6.5/10 ⚖️ Balance: 7/10 🔄 Replayability: 7/10 👥 Community: 7/10 ⭐ Overall Experience: 7/10 🎨 Visual Summary 🎮 Gameplay: Focused on survival mechanics, crafting, and zombie combat, with a straightforward but repetitive loop. 🎨 Visuals: Functional but outdated, lacking the polish of modern survival games. ⚖️ Balance: The gameplay balance is decent but suffers from repetitive moments and weak enemy AI. 🔄 Replayability: Replayable for fans of the genre, though the lack of diversity in gameplay can make it feel repetitive over time. 👥 Community: A modest player base, with multiplayer being a fun aspect of the game. 🎯 Final Verdict How to Survive offers a solid, if somewhat dated, survival experience with a focus on crafting, combat, and managing your basic needs. The game is fun in short bursts, especially in co-op, but its repetitive gameplay and outdated graphics may limit its long-term appeal. While not as polished or complex as other survival games, it offers a straightforward zombie survival experience for players who want something simple and accessible. If you're looking for a lighthearted survival challenge, How to Survive is worth a try, but it might not satisfy players seeking deeper gameplay or narrative.

Really quite frustrating. They make you pick up a ton of stuff and barely give you an inventory. The tutorials are long slow and boring, movement can be a chore, targeting enemies can be spotty, it's ok but it's really quite rough. Oh it doesn't autosave, found that out the hard way.
A pretty repetitive and frustrating experience. May have one of the worst inventory systems in a game that I can currently remember.
eu sei que ninguém lê as minhas reviews, então vou dizer que sou gay
A somewhat janky zombie survival game. Combat is mostly boring. After I accidentally crafted a boomerang, I had no real reason to use anything else. At first, I tried to craft a flamethrower, but it was too hard for me to track all the ingredients randomly thrown around inexpressive islands without a proper map of transitions. The story is neither immersive nor entertaining and the "sudden twists" have no real weight to them. Sadly, I can't find any features that would let me earnestly recommend this game to anyone.
A really fun game plagued by P2W DLC. Can't recommend retail games that sell paid advantages. Without this DLC, a player would be banned for cheating for acquiring these advantages.
i remember playing this on the xbox 360 back in the day this was project zomboid before project zomboid was a thing
Can't turn off friendly fire. Developer made fun of someone asking for this feature. Never buying anything from this developer again.
