Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

NEVER PLAY THIS ♥♥♥♥. NO CAP ON GOD BRO.
House of Terror is a small-scale survival horror game that builds its experience around vulnerability, exploration, and the constant possibility of being discovered. Developed and published by ZERO5GAMES, it places the player inside a sinister mansion with a simple objective: find the hidden treasure box while staying out of the hands of a dangerous granny roaming the property. Rather than overwhelming the player with complicated mechanics, the game concentrates on darkness, limited visibility, stealth, environmental investigation, and the anxiety of knowing that something hostile may be nearby. The mansion serves as both the primary setting and the game's most important source of tension. Moving through dim corridors and unfamiliar rooms becomes inherently risky because exploration is necessary for progress, yet every additional step potentially exposes the player to danger. A weak flashlight provides limited assistance in navigating the darkness, deliberately restricting how much of the environment can be observed at once. This creates uncertainty around corners and inside poorly illuminated rooms, making cautious movement considerably more important than simply rushing toward the objective. The roaming granny is the main threat and gives the otherwise straightforward exploration a stronger sense of urgency. Players are encouraged to remain quiet, pay attention to their surroundings, and avoid making unnecessary noise that could reveal their position. Hiding therefore becomes a practical survival strategy rather than an optional gimmick. The tension comes from balancing two conflicting needs: staying safe encourages patience, while finding the treasure requires leaving secure locations and continuing deeper into the mansion. This push and pull is the core of the experience. House of Terror also incorporates puzzle solving and secret hunting into its survival formula. Progress is not presented purely as a sequence of chase encounters, as players must investigate the environment and overcome obstacles while searching for their ultimate objective. These quieter puzzle-oriented moments can actually strengthen the horror because concentration becomes divided between solving the immediate problem and remaining alert for the pursuer. A puzzle that would normally be simple can become much more stressful when the player is uncertain whether an enemy is approaching from somewhere outside the room. Sound plays an important role in supporting this approach. In a game where noise can contribute to danger, audio becomes part of the player's awareness rather than functioning exclusively as atmospheric decoration. Listening for movement while attempting to remain quiet creates a natural relationship between stealth and horror. Combined with the dark mansion, eerie surroundings, unsettling visual presentation, and sudden encounters, this helps establish the feeling that safety is temporary. The game is most effective when anticipation creates more anxiety than the actual appearance of the enemy. Mechanically, the game favors accessibility over complexity. There is no indication that it is attempting to deliver an elaborate combat system or an enormous collection of interconnected progression mechanics. Its appeal instead comes from a focused loop of searching, hiding, listening, solving puzzles, and trying to reach the treasure without being caught. Players who enjoy uncomplicated indie horror may appreciate how quickly the central premise can be understood. Conversely, anyone expecting extensive combat, a sprawling campaign, or highly sophisticated survival systems should approach it with more modest expectations. The Steam categories and user-generated tags can give a somewhat confusing impression of what the game actually offers. Although classifications such as Adventure, Casual, Indie, and Sports appear alongside unusual community tags, the actual gameplay description is much more clearly associated with stealth-oriented survival horror. The mansion, hostile pursuer, flashlight, hiding mechanics, puzzles, secrets, and treasure hunt are far more representative of the experience than some of the broader or seemingly unrelated labels attached to the store listing. Its presentation also deserves consideration. The store disclosure indicates that generative AI was used for promotional graphics and the written store description. Players who pay attention to how promotional assets are produced may want to keep this in mind. However, that detail alone does not establish whether the game itself succeeds or fails. The more meaningful measures are the quality of the mansion's layout, responsiveness of the controls, enemy behavior, effectiveness of the puzzles, atmosphere, and whether repeated encounters can maintain suspense instead of becoming predictable. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best regarded as unverified rather than officially confirmed as Verified or Playable. The absence of a clear official Steam Deck compatibility designation means handheld players should not assume flawless operation. The relatively straightforward nature of the game may make it possible to run through Proton, but potential issues involving controls, interface readability, performance, or configuration should be considered until an official compatibility assessment is available. Ultimately, House of Terror offers a straightforward interpretation of the hunted-in-a-haunted-house formula. Its strongest qualities come from the interaction between restricted visibility, careful exploration, noise awareness, hiding, puzzle solving, and the persistent danger represented by the roaming granny. The underlying concept is familiar and relatively modest in scope, but that simplicity can work in its favor for players seeking an accessible horror experience without complicated systems standing between them and the scares. Its long-term effectiveness will depend heavily on whether its enemy behavior, puzzles, and mansion design provide enough variety to prevent the initial tension from becoming routine. For horror fans who enjoy being vulnerable, searching dark environments, and avoiding an enemy rather than confronting it directly, the premise has definite appeal. It does not appear positioned as an expansive survival-horror epic, but as a smaller experience centered on suspense and straightforward objectives. With appropriate expectations, its combination of treasure hunting, stealth, puzzles, darkness, and pursuit provides a potentially entertaining test of patience and nerves. Rating: 6/10

it was really something(?), really fun to laugh at with friends Really fun to laugh at with friends, but i checked the price and my god it was definitely not worth the price they want for it. I mean, nothing renders in in time and you have to constantly hold in mouse 1 if you wanna look around. No one in their right mind should charge anything for something that feels like it was made in Unity in under an hour
Save your money, it's not worth it. Not even for free. The controls are extremely clumsy, the enemy AI is non-existent, and the game's main villain is called "Scarry Garnny."
This game is very FUN. TRY IT!!!
A love letter to 90s horror. Eerie VHS vibes, puzzles that unsettle, and something breathing in the walls. Sleep with lights on tonight.
Really enjoyed this one! The atmosphere is tense and creepy in all the right ways. Exploring dark, haunted environments while solving puzzles kept me on edge the whole time. The sound design adds a lot to the experience — headphones are a must! It’s not overly long, but it’s just enough to keep you engaged without dragging. If you’re into horror with a bit of mystery, this is definitely worth playing.
