Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising

An old game from a different era. I play this every few years simply because I enjoy the story and the scenarios. It rewards thoughtful and highly aggressive play, but the real joy is simply the story is such fun. Most of the missions are heavily focused on combat, but some have other elements. I won't spoil the story, which I personally enjoyed enough to come back and replay the game every few years or so.

One of my favorite games to this day, used to play it a lot during my childhood, 10/10 will forever hope for a remake/remaster

game keeps crashing once you go to load up a new game save i wish there was a fix im trying to relive some good nostalgic times from when i was a kid

I find it hard that in 2025, publishers can sell games that won't run on modern systems. For anyone wanting to buy this: DON'T. This game was obviously not tested if it can run on windows 11 and it runs on 5 FPS when you start it through Steam. There are ways around it to make it work and function again. But if you are not good with programs and want to spend 3 hours just trying to get this game to work, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GAME. The publishers don't care otherwise this issue would not exist even to this day. Oh also, they took down remaster that probably wouldn't have this problem and would introduce this game to modern systems.
