Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I like it, I usually dislike fast paced games but this one is really fun, it is also a very good translation of homeworld gameplay onto the ground. The dlc factions aren't too unique, but I still love them. The story is honestly one of my favourites out of all games I've played and the painted artstyle of the cutscenes feels like a natural evolution of that classic homeworld style, especially when compared to that of homeworld 3.
This game differs from the other games in the series, but it is not in a bad way. What made the original games extraodinary was the movement accompanied with space. Your different units could fly in X,Y,Z axis meaning it demand more from you in terms of units placement. This game on the other hand is purely ground based which means it becomes more rigid in its movement. However they have tried to combat this with a more varied terrain with steep dunes that can block projectiles from reaching units. So even though it has removed the space element of the first two games it has created something just as captivating. The story and unit design is still top notch just like the old games. If you liked the old games (or you have never tried the series) I would definetly recommend this game. This game is both enjoyable if it is your first installment in the Homeworld series, and if it is your last installment.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

ITS FUN
like the main series, but on ground. Just as fun. I would love a sequel. Oh and if you play this, remember, you can absolutely wreck your enemy with your air force.
No replayability Short campaign with no unlocks/upgrade screen **CRIMINALLY** small amount of units Bad PVE co-op with AI that cheats No mod support 10 years after release
A really fun and simple RTS. Definitely recommend on a sale. Best strat is spamming artillery and rushing the enemy with your carrier and a ton of support vessels (when facing AI). It is very fun.
it is a fun engaging game and you keep your stuff every round so you can capture something and have it for the rest of the game it is really fun and with the summer deal you can get it and homeworld 1 and 2 and homeworld 1 and 2 remasterd for 3 bucks so cheap
