A great Game, I like the Story! However it was to short, you want more after this. would be lovely if there where more stories comming
I will keep it short and simple. If you like Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars/Kane's Wrath, if you like Supreme Commander 1/2, if you kinda like Halo Wars but wish it had more complexity, you will like this game. It doesn't have the unit variety of C&C, it doesn't have the scale of SC, but it satisfies that kind of RTS fan such as myself. I haven't played the other Homeworld games, but I will after I am done with this campaign. I don't usually play RTS games for their campaigns, I prefer to just play Skirmish, but this game has an excellent campaign that I highly recommend playing. Controls take a little getting used to, but you do get used to them.

While the game did come out 9 years ago, attempted to play for the first time. The UI is too irritating to get past the 3rd mission. Minimal control of units compared to original Homeworld. Just can't get into it.

Got this gem on 90% sale and it was worth it
If you like the Homeworld story, its a prequel.
I haven't played any Homeworld (yet), I was pretty much looking for the closest thing to a Dune game in the style of the original Dune 2, the father of RTSes. And I was not disappointed! Well it's not like in Dune 2 since you're not building a base, you're building a -moving- fleet. But it's a great RTS and the feel of Dune is present. Didn't care much for the plot, though, which is supposed to be connected to the rest of the Homeworld series.
Not bad for a relatively cheap game, very limited. Like command and conquer for babies.
