Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
现在更新到1.3版本后已经趋于稳定,游戏已经能够玩了,家园2的老玩家几乎可以立刻上手。最后,原价我嗤之以鼻,但10几元的激活码只能说真香了
this game is unfinished worse than the previous titles and the multiplayer is dead

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Homeworld 3 is a worthy successor to the storied franchise and a ton of fun to play. I've been engrossed by the series since Homeworld 1 and contrary to most sentiments about the game, I very much appreciate the flawed and 'human' nature of the characters, as well as the chance to see characters interacting inside of their ships. While the cast is limited, it is in line with former entries in the franchise, and we get to see a lot more of what used to just be voices and an icon. Gameplay is solid as expected, the new co-op rougelike mode keeps me and my friends coming back, and the campaign was fresh and exciting while leaving room open for another entry. Give this game a shot and decide for yourself if it is worth your time. I know that I will be coming back to it again and again <3
I bought it for 13 € but am soft locked in the campaign. The skirmishes are somewhat fun but I don't have the overview over the battlefield. I don't know for what the replay feature exists if you can't event go back and forth in time to specific moments.
I genuinely wish I could get my money back
So... not even 20h for the main campaign. Don't get me wrong, I don't need 100h to call something a "complete game", but despite all the reviews, this game is actually pretty good! Forget the design and script of the characters; every AI generated persona has more personality. But the core gameplay is really fun, with great ships and weapons and awesome space combat! For me - and I don't say this often - this game came to an end too soon. I'll try my hand at skirmish now, see what else this has in store (but something like that can never replace the progression you get in the campaign)
This game is such a major disappointment for how when it released it had a terrible campaign with horrid writing and how shallow the game is compared to homeworld 1&2 but also how insane it is for them to drop the game not even a year after release with a promised new campaign mission which will never come to be since they realize how badly they fumbled the ball. Anyhow I cursed my friend by giving him a steam key from humble because I already own this rotting game
.
I would only recommend this on sale. It has the bones of a good sequel to Homeworld 2 but it's just not as well executed. The story is feels like it was written by comitee and the atmosphere is slightly off. It's a shame as they nailed the look and sound of Homeworld but not quite the feeling. Hopefully it wont be quite as long before another game in the series but these days there are alternative that are as good or better.
