Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Reviews
Don't let the mixed reviews fool you. Apart from the abysmal story, it's a very solid game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I genuinely wish I could get my money back
It has potential, I just don't know what happened to the roadmap after the first year...

I think the negative reviews received are unfair. The game is what it promises: a 20-years-later revived Homeworld, nothing more, nothing less. Same game, just better graphic and a slighly more complex gameplay, which for today's players' taste is probably too difficult to play.
The units in this game always picks the worst possible path to move and always charge forward to die even when I tell them not to. This has been a solved problem for space combat games for decades at this point. The only explanation I have is that they designed the game for 2d space combat but changed it to 3d last minute as the movement options feels like it was designed that way.
Even with my love with the Homeworld series and all it has done for the sci-fi space genre, this game has been a major let down in terms of the story direction they took compared to the other drafts they could have gone with and the major swindle with the dlc season pass. Would barely recommend the game if it ever drops below $10, anything higher is robbery with the game being so quickly dropped after launch.
This game might be one of the biggest letdowns in a while, with a game. The story is hot garbage, but I can't complain; it's an improvement from the last game, but it's nothing special, just a generic story that leaves you feeling robbed for the time you spent playing it. The game has maybe 3 factions you can play as in the base game, and then they make you pay for the rest. With maybe one new faction coming out every year. There is a lack of any workshop integration with Steam, so you're just stuck with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods that the game has built into its own workshop page, half don't even work. The game is maybe a 5-hour-long if you really take your time with it, skirmish battles are boring, and the game has practically been abandoned. Pros: The game looks pretty Just give modders an easier gateway to improve your dead game.
